Safety Information
Warning
- Dispose of packaging materials properly. Plastic bags can cause suffocation; keep away from children and pets.
- Do not immerse the base in water to avoid damaging electronic components.
- Do not allow children to operate the device unless instructed on safe operation.
- Exercise caution when children are near or operating the device to reduce injury risk.
- Do not place the device where pets cannot reach the food tray.
- Use the device only indoors, regularly checking if food is dispensed correctly.
- Do not put wet, canned, or moist food into the device.
- Replace batteries before extended travel.
- Do not put anything other than food into the device.
- Disassemble device parts as per the manual if necessary.
- Use only accessories recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
- Do not unplug by pulling the power cord; pull the plug by gripping the adapter.
- Do not use if the power cord or any part is damaged. Contact customer service for help.
- To reduce electric shock risk, do not place the device where it can fall into a tub or sink.
- Always unplug the device when not in use or before cleaning.
- Use the device only for its intended purpose.
- If the plug gets wet, turn off the power. Do not unplug while wet.
- After installation, check the device. Do not plug in if the power cord or plug has water.
- Always keep the device where people won't trip over it.
- Do not put fingers into the food outlet or touch the impeller while it's operating.
- Do not let pets chew or swallow any parts. If the power cord is chewed, wrap it with a protective cover.
Note
- Do not attempt to re-pair the device yourself.
- If using an extension cord, ensure voltage and current match requirements.
- Do not place the device where temperatures are below 4°C/40°F.
- Lift or carry the device with both hands, keeping it upright.
- Use 4*AA alkaline batteries (not included).
- Suitable only for dry food with kibble size 0.16-0.47in/4-12mm. Larger pieces may get stuck.
- Read and follow all instructions on the manual and packaging.

Assembly Instructions
- Remove all accessories. Wash and dry them before assembly.
- Connect the power adapter. Optionally, install 4*AA batteries (not included) for backup power.
Note: Batteries are for backup only and not the primary power source.
- Place the stainless steel bowl on the food tray. Lift the device and insert the handle cutout into the groove on the base. Place the desiccant bag in the desiccant compartment.
Note: It is recommended to put the lid on before cleaning.
- Fill the device with your pet's favorite dry food, arrange the food, and close the lid.
Note: Use dry food with kibble size 4-12mm. Large pieces may get stuck.

Y-splitter Assembly
- Place the Y-splitter in the desired location and ensure the food tray is in place.
- Align the food tray holes with the base protrusion and push down to connect.

Cleaning and Maintenance
- Remove the lid and take out the desiccant.
- Remove the bowl and empty the food tank.
- Remove the battery cover and turn the container at the back of the feeder, then lift to remove.
The base unit cannot be submerged in water. Use a cloth for cleaning.
The food tray, stainless steel bowl, tank, and lid can be washed with water.

Feed according to your pet's needs. The table is for reference only. If your pet does not eat the programmed meal, reduce the next portion.
Troubleshooting (Non-Wi-Fi Version)
Problem | Solution |

Unresponsive Buttons | The device is in power-saving mode. The screen locks after 60 seconds of inactivity. Press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds to unlock. |
Device does not remember feeding settings | Unlock screen, press and hold ON/OFF for 3 seconds to view meal settings. Screen exits if no operation within 1 second. Press settings button again to enter settings. |
Screen shows '0' or 'E' | '0' indicates no food; refill. 'E' indicates malfunction; check for foreign objects or oversized kibble. |

Troubleshooting (Wi-Fi Version)

Quick Programming Instructions
Timer Setting
- Press and hold the [ ] button for 3 seconds to unlock timer settings.
- Set timer as per diagram.
- Press [ ] to confirm and proceed, then press [ ] / [ ] to modify numbers.
Feeding Settings
- Press [ ] to set the first meal time, press [ ] / [ ] to modify the number of meals.
- Press [ ] to set the first portion size, press [ ] / [ ] to change the quantity (1-60).
- Repeat for meals 2-6. Press & hold [ ] for 2 seconds to confirm, or wait 10 seconds to exit.
Note: Setting portion to 0 cancels feeding for that meal.
Connecting Device to Phone
Preparation
- iOS 9.0+ or Android 4.4+.
- Phone connected to 2.4G Wi-Fi (not 5G).
- Wi-Fi password: max 12 alphanumeric characters, no special symbols, no Chinese.
- Enable Bluetooth and Location services.
- Device should be near Wi-Fi router (within 10m), with no obstructions.
App Download & Login
- Scan QR code or search "ROJECO" on App Store/Google Play.
- Create an account or log in.
Note: App language depends on phone's default language.
Adding Device in App

- Turn on the device. Press and hold the settings button for 5 seconds until the green indicator blinks rapidly and the red indicator turns off.
- Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone. Open the ROJECO app, tap "Add Device" or "+". When "ROJECO Feeder" appears, tap "Add".
- Enter Wi-Fi password and tap "Next".
- Connect as shown in the diagram, then tap "Next".
- Optionally, rename the device and tap "Done". The green indicator will be solid once connected.
- Go to the homepage, select portion, and tap "Quick" for immediate feeding.
Adding Feeding Plan

- Tap "Meal Plan" to go to settings.
- Tap "Add" to add a feeding plan.
- Set schedule and portions as needed. Tap "Save" to finish.
Meal Interface Explanation
Plan 1: 08:30 (Every Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat) / 6 portions.
Plan 2: 12:00 daily / 12 portions.
Saving Feeding Plan & Factory Reset
Saving Feeding Plan
- Tap "Feed record".
- Go to the "Feeding History" page.
Note: If network is disconnected, the device will continue feeding according to the plan without saving records.
Factory Reset
- Tap the [ ] icon.
- Tap "Factory Reset".
- Tap "Confirm". The device will disconnect from the phone immediately.
Sharing Device

- Tap the [ ] button in the top right corner of the ROJECO app.
- Tap "Share Device".
- Tap "Add Sharing".
- Tap "Share via ROJECO Account".
- Add region and account details for the person you want to share with, then fill in their details and log in by tapping "Done".
- Configured accounts will appear in the top right corner.
ROJECO App Account Notes & Wi-Fi Troubleshooting
ROJECO App Account Notes
- Shared users need a ROJECO account. Account name is the mobile number.
- If forgotten, check "Me" section in the app.
- After successful sharing, the device will appear when opening the app, allowing feeding settings to be configured.
Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Signal Loss at Home
- Connect phone to another phone's hotspot, ensure Bluetooth is on. If Bluetooth is off or unavailable, use the hotspot connection.
- During connection, avoid phone calls or videos to prevent disconnection or slow speeds.
- After connecting to the hotspot, open ROJECO app and tap "Add Device".
- Select "Small Home Appliances - Pet Feeder (Wi-Fi)".
- Enter Wi-Fi password and tap "Next".
Wi-Fi Troubleshooting (AP Mode)
- Tap top-right corner and select "AP Mode". Press and hold the SET button on the device for 5 seconds until the green indicator blinks rapidly and the red one turns off. Tap "Confirm the indicator is blinking slowly" in the app. Then tap "Next".
- Tap "Go to Connect".
- Select "Smart Life-AECB" from the WLAN list.
- Return to the ROJECO app.
- Wait a moment. Information will appear, and a "Device added successfully" message will display. Tap "Next".
Connection Issues & Indicator Descriptions
If connection fails, contact technical support (rojecoservice@126.com).
To use on another phone: Remove "Pet Feeder" from the current phone. Open ROJECO app, press and hold "ROJECO Pet Feeder" for 3 seconds, tap "Remove Device", then tap "Confirm".

Battery Information
LI-ION Battery
The device uses a LI ION battery, which degrades over time. Manufacturer specifies maximum working time under optimal lab conditions with a new, fully charged battery. Actual time may vary. To preserve battery life, avoid discharging below 3.18V or 15% capacity. Discharging below 2.5V permanently damages the cell and is not covered by warranty. If not used for over a month, charge to 50% and check every two months. Store in a dry place away from sun and freezing temperatures.
LIPO Battery
The device uses a LI PO battery, which degrades over time. Manufacturer specifies maximum working time under optimal lab conditions with a new, fully charged battery. Actual time may vary. To preserve battery life, avoid discharging below 3.5V or 5% capacity. Discharging below 3.2V permanently damages the cell and is not covered by warranty.
