1. Product Overview

The Maxell MXH-BTW401 True Wireless Earbuds are designed for comfort and convenience. Featuring a lightweight and compact design, they offer a secure fit that minimizes protrusion from the ear, making them suitable for use even while lying down. 2. Package Contents

Ensure all items are present in the package:

3. Setup and Charging

3.1 Initial Charging

  1. Place the earbuds into the charging case.
  2. Connect the provided USB-A to Type-C charging cable to the charging case and a USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The indicator light on the charging case will show charging status. A full charge for the case takes approximately 2 hours.
  4. The charging case can fully recharge the earbuds approximately 2 times.

3.2 Pairing with a Device

  1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "MXH-BTW401" from the list of found devices to connect.
  4. Once connected, a confirmation sound will play from the earbuds.

Multi-pairing: The earbuds support multi-pairing with up to 4 devices. To switch between paired devices, simply connect from the desired device's Bluetooth settings.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Controls (Touch Control)

The earbuds feature touch controls for various functions:

  • Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
  • Next Track: Double tap on the right earbud.
  • Previous Track: Double tap on the left earbud.
  • Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud during an incoming call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
  • Activate Voice Assistant: Triple tap on either earbud.
  • Volume Control: Press and hold the right earbud to increase volume, press and hold the left earbud to decrease volume.

Note: If the case is difficult to remove, twist it approximately 90 degrees until it detaches. If you experience accidental touches, ensure the earbuds are properly seated in your ear.

4.2 Single-Ear Mode

You can use either the left or right earbud independently. Simply remove one earbud from the charging case, and it will automatically connect to your paired device. The other earbud can remain in the case or be turned off.

4.3 Hands-Free Calling

The built-in microphone allows for clear hands-free calls and participation in web conferences. Ensure the earbuds are connected to your device via Bluetooth.

5. Customization (Sticker Application)

The transparent outer case of the charging case can be customized with stickers. This allows you to create a unique and personalized look for your earbuds.

Important: The thickness of the sticker must be 0.12mm or less to ensure the case closes properly.

  1. Twist the outer case approximately 90 degrees to separate it from the inner earbud holder.
  2. Apply your desired sticker(s) to the inner surface of the transparent outer case.
  3. Reattach the outer case by aligning and twisting it back into place.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
  • Earpieces: Remove earpieces and clean them with a damp cloth if necessary. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged.
  • Water Exposure: These earbuds are not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water, moisture, or excessive humidity.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound:
    • Ensure earbuds are charged.
    • Check if Bluetooth is enabled on your device and connected to "MXH-BTW401".
    • Adjust the volume on both your device and the earbuds.
  • Cannot Pair:
    • Ensure earbuds are in pairing mode (indicator light flashing).
    • Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device.
    • Try resetting the earbuds (refer to the full manual for specific reset instructions if needed).
  • Earbuds not charging:
    • Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
    • Check if the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case are clean.
  • Accidental Touch Controls:
    • Ensure the earbuds are properly seated in your ears.
    • Avoid touching the touch-sensitive area unnecessarily when adjusting the earbuds.
