Introduction

The BOYA BY-WM3T-D2 is a compact and versatile wireless microphone system designed for use with iPhone and iPad devices featuring a Lightning connector. • BY-WM3T-RXD Receiver: Features an MFi Lightning connector for direct connection to iOS devices, a status indicator light, charging contacts, and a USB-C charging port for pass-through phone charging.
• BY-WM3T-TX Transmitters (x2): Each transmitter has a built-in microphone, a status indicator light, an NR (Noise Reduction) button, a power button, a belt clip for attachment, and charging contacts.
• BY-WM3T Charging Case: A portable case designed to store and charge both transmitters and the receiver. It has LED indicators to show its own battery level.

Setup

• Transmitters (TX): Provide up to 10 hours of operation. They charge automatically when placed in the charging case or can be charged via a USB-C cable.
• Receiver (RXD): The receiver is powered directly by your iOS device and does not require separate charging.
• Charging Case: The case can fully recharge the transmitters approximately two times. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the case to charge it. LED indicators on the case show the charging status:
  • <25% charged: 1 LED lit
  • 50% charged: 2 LEDs lit
  • 75% charged: 3 LEDs lit
  • 100% charged: 4 LEDs lit

Initial Pairing and Connection

1. Unlock your iPhone or iPad.
2. Plug the BY-WM3T-RXD receiver directly into your device's Lightning port.
3. Remove the BY-WM3T-TX transmitters from the charging case. They will automatically power on and pair with the receiver. The status indicator lights on the transmitters will turn blue when successfully paired.
4. The system is now ready for audio recording. No additional apps or Bluetooth pairing are required.

Operating Instructions

Noise Reduction (NR) Mode

• The BY-WM3T-TX transmitters are equipped with intelligent noise reduction chips.
• To activate or deactivate Noise Reduction, short press the 'NR' button on the side of the transmitter.
• When Noise Reduction is active, the status indicator light on the transmitter will turn green.
• You can cycle through different levels of noise reduction (weak, medium, strong) by repeatedly short-pressing the 'NR' button on the receiver (the part plugged into your phone). The green light on the receiver will blink 1, 2, or 3 times to indicate the selected level.

AI Voice Mode

• To activate AI Voice Mode, double-press the 'NR' button on the receiver. The status indicator light on the receiver will turn blue.
• You can cycle through different AI voice settings (deep, high, normal) by repeatedly double-pressing the 'NR' button on the receiver. The blue light on the receiver will blink 1, 2, or 3 times to indicate the selected setting.
• The 'NR' button on the transmitter itself toggles between green (Noise Reduction) and blue (AI Voice Mode).

Pass-through Phone Charging

• The BY-WM3T-RXD receiver has a USB-C port. You can connect a USB-C charging cable to this port to charge your iPhone or iPad simultaneously while recording.
• This port supports QC2.0 and PD2.0 fast charging protocols.

Troubleshooting

• No Sound/Poor Audio Quality: Ensure the receiver is fully inserted into your iOS device. Verify that the transmitters are powered on and successfully paired (blue indicator light). Check if Noise Reduction or AI Voice Mode settings are appropriate for your environment.
• Connection Issues: Ensure transmitters are removed from the charging case to power on. If pairing fails, try restarting both the transmitters and your iOS device.
• Charging Problems: Confirm the USB-C cable is securely connected to the charging case and a power source. Check the LED indicators on the charging case for battery status.

Maintenance

• Regularly clean the charging contacts on the transmitters, receiver, and charging case with a dry, soft cloth to ensure optimal charging and connection.
• Store the microphone system in the provided carrying pouch when not in use to protect it from dust and damage.
• Avoid exposing the devices to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
