Setup and Installation
The Pixio PS2S monitor arm offers flexible installation options to suit your desk setup.
Choosing Your Mounting Method
The monitor arm comes with both C-clamp and grommet mounting kits. The C-clamp is the default and generally easier to install.
C-Clamp Installation
For C-clamp installation, ensure your desk thickness is between 0.39 inches and 2 inches. The arm is designed for top-down installation, eliminating the need to access the underside of your desk to secure it.

Grommet Installation
For grommet installation, the arm fits through holes up to 1.7 inches in diameter. This method provides a more permanent and flush setup.
Attaching the Monitor
The PS2S monitor arm is compatible with VESA 75x75mm and 100x100mm mounting patterns. It features a detachable VESA plate design for simple attachment and removal of your monitor.

Operating the Monitor Arm
The Pixio PS2S utilizes Gas Spring Technology for smooth and effortless adjustments.
Adjusting Tension
To ensure optimal performance and prevent sagging, adjust the gas spring tension according to your monitor's weight. Use an Allen wrench to turn clockwise for lighter monitors (to increase tension) and counter-clockwise for heavier monitors (to reduce tension).

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and smooth operation of your Pixio PS2S monitor arm, perform the following simple maintenance tasks:
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe down the arm and base with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
- Tension Check: Periodically check the gas spring tension, especially if you change monitors or notice any sagging. Adjust as needed using the provided Allen wrench.
- Screw Tightness: Ensure all mounting screws (for both the clamp/grommet and VESA plate) remain tight to maintain stability.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Pixio PS2S monitor arm, please refer to the following common solutions:
Monitor Sagging or Not Holding Position
- Solution: The gas spring tension may be too low for your monitor's weight. Increase the tension using the Allen wrench (turn clockwise). Refer to the "Adjusting Tension" section for detailed instructions.
Arm Movement is Stiff or Difficult
- Solution: The gas spring tension may be too high. Decrease the tension using the Allen wrench (turn counter-clockwise).
Monitor Not Level
- Solution: Check the VESA plate attachment to ensure it is securely and evenly mounted to your monitor. Adjust the tilt mechanism if necessary.
