3. Setup
Powering Your Radio
The PRUNUS J-110 offers multiple power options:
- AC Power: Connect the provided AC power cord to the radio's AC input and plug it into a standard wall outlet.
- Built-in Rechargeable Battery: The radio comes with a built-in 1200 mAh rechargeable battery. It will charge automatically when connected to AC power. The charging indicator light will show its status.
- D-type Batteries: For portable use without AC power, you can insert D-type batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Remember to remove D-type batteries when charging the internal battery or using AC power to prevent damage.
Initial Charge
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the built-in battery. Connect the radio to AC power and allow it to charge until the charging indicator shows a full charge (if applicable, refer to indicator behavior in specifications).
4. Operating Instructions
Radio Operation (FM/AM/SW)
- Turn On: Rotate the Volume knob clockwise to turn on the radio and adjust to a comfortable listening level.
- Select Band: Use the Band switch to select your desired radio band: FM, AM, or SW.
- Tune Stations: Slowly rotate the Tuning knob to scan for radio stations. The built-in magnifier on the dial will assist in precise tuning. Extend the telescopic antenna for better FM and SW reception.

Bluetooth Playback
- Select Bluetooth Mode: Switch the Band knob to the "MP3" position. The radio will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Pair Device: On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, search for "PRUNUS J-110" (or similar name) in the Bluetooth settings and connect.
- Play Music: Once connected, you can play audio from your device through the radio's speaker. The Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).
TF Card / USB Flash Drive Playback
- Insert Media: Insert a Micro SD/TF card or a USB flash drive (up to 32GB, formatted to FAT32) containing MP3 audio files into the respective slot/port.
- Select MP3 Mode: Switch the Band knob to the "MP3" position. The radio will automatically detect and begin playing audio files from the inserted media.
AUX Input Playback
- Connect Device: Use a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect your external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, computer) to the AUX jack on the radio.
- Select AUX Mode: The radio should automatically switch to AUX mode when a cable is inserted, or you may need to select the appropriate mode via the Band switch if available.

Cleaning
