4.3 Mifare Card Access

To use a Mifare card for access, ensure it has been registered through the ZK Smartkey App. Once registered, simply present the card to the designated reader area on the lock's keypad to unlock the door.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

The AL10B lock is powered by standard batteries (not specified in input, but typically AA or AAA). When the low battery alarm activates on the OLED display or the app, replace all batteries promptly.

5.2 Emergency Power

In case of complete battery depletion, the lock features an emergency power interface. Connect a 9V alkaline battery to this interface to temporarily power the lock and gain access.

5.3 Cleaning

Clean the lock's exterior and keypad with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the finish or internal components.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Lock Not Responding: Check battery levels. If batteries are low or depleted, use a 9V alkaline battery with the emergency power interface.
  • Keypad Not Lighting Up: This usually indicates dead batteries. Replace them immediately.
  • App Connectivity Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and that you are within range of the lock. Restart the app or your phone if issues persist.
  • Incorrect Password/Card Not Recognized: Double-check the password entry, ensuring the correct sequence. For cards, ensure they are properly registered in the app.
  • Lockout Mode: If the lock enters lockout mode (e.g., after multiple incorrect attempts), wait for the specified cool-down period or use a registered administrator password/card to reset.
