3. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the various parts of your Mesqool Digital Alarm Clock.

Front View

The front features a large 7.5-inch LED display for clear time readability. The display shows the time, AM/PM indicator, DST (Daylight Saving Time) indicator, and ALM (Alarm) indicator.

Top View

On the top, you will find the large SNOOZE/NIGHT LIGHT button for easy access to snooze the alarm or change the night light color. There are also dedicated HOUR and MIN buttons for time adjustment.

Rear View

The rear panel houses most of the control switches and ports, including the DC power input, dual USB charging ports (Type-C and standard USB), dimmer switch, alarm volume switch, 12H/24H time format switch, DST switch, ALARM ON/OFF switch, SET TIME button, ALARM PAUSE button, and SET ALARM button. The battery compartment for backup batteries is also located here.

4. Setup

Power Connection

This alarm clock operates on AC power. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 5V input port on the back of the clock and then plug it into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up, indicating the clock is powered on.

Battery Backup Installation

For battery backup functionality, insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the rear of the clock. The battery backup retains time and alarm settings during power outages but does not power the display or alarm sound. The alarm will still trigger if power is disconnected while on battery backup.

5. Operating Instructions

Setting the Time

1. Press the SET TIME button on the rear panel. The hour digits will begin to flash.
2. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons on the top of the clock to adjust the hour and minute respectively.
3. Press SET TIME again to confirm and exit time setting mode.

12H/24H Time Format & DST

Use the TIME FORMAT slider switch on the rear panel to select between 12-hour and 24-hour display formats. To enable or disable Daylight Saving Time (DST), slide the DST switch on the rear panel.

Setting the Alarm

1. Slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The alarm indicator (ALM) will appear on the display.
2. Press the SET ALARM button on the rear panel. The hour digits of the alarm time will flash.
3. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons on the top of the clock to set your desired alarm time.
4. Press SET ALARM again to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.

Alarm Volume Adjustment

Adjust the alarm volume using the ALARM VOLUME slider switch on the rear panel. Choose between LOW, MED (Medium), and HIGH settings. The alarm starts softer and gradually increases to the set volume.

Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/NIGHT LIGHT button on the top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 9 minutes and then sound again. You can repeat this process as needed.

To turn off the alarm completely for the day, press the prominent red ALARM PAUSE button on the rear panel. To turn off the alarm permanently, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.

Night Light Function

The clock features a soothing night light with 7 color options. Tap the large SNOOZE/NIGHT LIGHT button on the top to cycle through the colors: Oyster White, Cobalt Blue, Sky Blue, Green, Beige, Shocking Pink, and Violet. Continue tapping to turn the night light off.

Display Brightness Dimmer

Adjust the brightness of the LED display using the DIMMER slider switch on the rear panel. There are 5 levels of brightness, allowing you to set it from exceedingly bright to exceedingly dim, ensuring no disturbing glare during sleep.

Charging Devices

The alarm clock is equipped with dual charging ports: one standard USB port and one Type-C port. These ports allow you to conveniently charge your smartphone, tablet, or other USB-powered devices directly from the clock, reducing the need for additional wall outlets.

• Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive sprays.
• Keep the clock away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
• If the clock will not be used for an extended period, remove the AAA backup batteries to prevent leakage.

• No Display / Clock Not Working: Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the clock and a working wall outlet. Check if the outlet has power.
• Alarm Not Sounding: Verify that the ALARM ON/OFF switch is in the ON position and that the alarm time is correctly set. Check the ALARM VOLUME setting.
• Display Too Dim/Bright: Adjust the DIMMER slider switch on the rear panel to your preferred brightness level.
• Time/Settings Lost After Power Outage: Ensure fresh AAA batteries are installed in the battery compartment for backup.
