1. Product Overview

The Avantree Oasis Plus 2 is a Bluetooth 5.3 transmitter designed for wirelessly streaming TV audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. It supports connecting up to two headphones simultaneously and features optical passthrough for soundbars.

1.2 Device Layout

2. Setup

2.1 Powering the Transmitter

1. Connect the provided Type C power cable to the transmitter's DC IN port.
2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a USB port on your TV or a wall outlet using a wall adapter (not included).
3. Slide the power switch on the right side of the transmitter to the "ON" position.
4. If powered via your TV, the transmitter will automatically turn on and off with the TV.

2.2 Connecting to Your TV

The Oasis Plus 2 supports Optical (SPDIF) and AUX (3.5mm) audio inputs. Optical is recommended for the best sound quality.

Option 1: Optical Connection (Recommended)

1. Plug one end of the provided optical audio cable into the transmitter's "OPTICAL" input port (Input From TV section).
2. Plug the other end into your TV's "OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT" port.
3. Using your TV remote, navigate to your TV's audio settings:
   • Go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output and select "Optical Out / Audio Out".
   • Then, change the TV's audio format to "PCM" and ensure Dolby is turned OFF.

Option 2: AUX Connection

1. Plug one end of the provided AUX 3.5mm audio cable into the transmitter's "AUX" input port (Input From TV section).
2. Plug the other end into your TV's "AUDIO OUT / H/P OUT" (3.5mm) port.
3. Using your TV remote, navigate to your TV's audio settings:
   • Go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output and select "Headset / External Speaker".

Option 3: RCA Connection (using AUX cable and RCA adapter)

1. First, plug the provided RCA adapter into the AUX cable.
2. Plug the AUX cable into the transmitter's "AUX IN" port (Input From TV section).
3. Then plug the connected RCA cable into your TV's red and white "AUDIO OUT" ports.

2.3 Pairing Headphones

1. Ensure the Oasis Plus 2 transmitter is powered on.
2. On first use, the transmitter will automatically enter pairing mode. For subsequent pairing, press and hold the "1" button on the transmitter until its LED flashes green and white alternately.
3. Put your Bluetooth headphones into pairing mode. Consult your headphone's user manual for specific instructions.
4. Keep the headphones close to the transmitter. After a few seconds, they should automatically connect. The transmitter's "1" LED will turn solid white to indicate a successful connection.
5. Important Note: Some smart TVs may automatically scan for and try to pair with Bluetooth devices. If your TV prompts to connect to the Oasis Plus 2 or your headphones, always select "Deny" to prevent interference with the transmitter's connection.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Connecting a Second Pair of Headphones (Dual Link)

The Oasis Plus 2 supports connecting two pairs of Bluetooth headphones simultaneously, allowing two listeners to enjoy TV audio together at their own volumes.

1. While the first pair of headphones is connected to the transmitter, press and hold the "2" button on the front of the transmitter until its LED flashes white and green alternately.
2. Put your second pair of Bluetooth headphones into pairing mode.
3. Keep the second pair of headphones close to the transmitter. They will automatically connect. The transmitter's "2" LED will turn solid white to indicate a successful connection.

3.3 Optical Passthrough Support

With Optical passthrough, TV audio can play through an OPT soundbar and Bluetooth headphones simultaneously. HDMI ARC / eARC passthrough is NOT supported.

1. To use this feature, plug an additional optical or AUX cable into the correlating output port in the transmitter's "Output To Speaker" section.
2. Plug the other end of this cable into your external sound system (soundbar or stereo AVR).
3. Note: You must use the same cable type for connecting the transmitter to the TV and the soundbar. For example, if you used an optical cable to connect the transmitter to the TV, you must also use an optical cable to connect the transmitter to your soundbar.

• NOT compatible with HDMI-only TVs, HDMI ARC / eARC, or AV receivers.
