Setup
Connecting the Headset
The Razer Electra V2 uses a unified 3.5 mm audio and microphone jack for universal compatibility.

- For PC/Mac: Plug the 3.5 mm jack directly into your computer's combined audio port. If your computer has separate audio-out and mic-in ports, you may need a 3.5mm splitter (not included).
- For PlayStation 4/Xbox One: Plug the 3.5 mm jack into the controller's headset port.
- For Mobile Devices: Plug the 3.5 mm jack into your mobile device's audio port.
Attaching the Microphone
The boom microphone is detachable. Locate the microphone port on the left earcup and firmly insert the microphone until it clicks into place.

Adjusting the Headset
The headset features a suspended headrest that automatically adjusts to your head size. Position the earcups over your ears for a comfortable fit. The aluminum frame is flexible for minor adjustments.

Operating Instructions
Audio Playback
Once connected, audio from your device will play through the headset. Adjust the volume using the inline volume control wheel located on the headset cable.
Microphone Usage
When the detachable microphone is attached, it will function as your primary input device. Use the inline microphone mute switch to toggle the microphone on or off.
For optimal voice clarity, position the microphone approximately 1-2 inches from your mouth.
Razer Surround Software (PC Only)
For PC users, download and install the Razer Surround software from the official Razer website to enable virtual 7.1 surround sound. This software allows for calibration and customization of the audio experience.
- Visit Razer Synapse to download the necessary drivers and software.
- Follow the on-screen instructions for installation and calibration.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the earcups and headband. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cable to prevent damage.
- Microphone Care: When detaching the microphone, pull it straight out from the port. Avoid twisting or bending the connector.
Troubleshooting
- No audio from headset:
- Ensure the 3.5 mm jack is fully inserted into the device's audio port.
- Check the inline volume control on the headset cable and ensure it is not set to minimum.
- Verify that the audio output settings on your device (PC, console, mobile) are configured to use the headset.
- Test the headset with another device to rule out a device-specific issue.
- Microphone not working:
- Ensure the detachable microphone is securely attached to the left earcup.
- Check the inline microphone mute switch and ensure it is not muted.
- Verify that the microphone input settings on your device are configured to use the headset's microphone.
- Test the microphone with another application or device.
- Poor sound quality or static:
- Ensure the 3.5 mm jack is clean and free of debris.
- Try connecting the headset to a different audio port or device to check for interference.
- If using Razer Surround software, try recalibrating or temporarily disabling it to see if the issue persists.
