  2. Wash Rice: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. Add to Inner Pot: Place the washed rice into the stainless steel inner pot.
  4. Add Water: Add water according to the markings inside the inner pot. For white rice, align the water level with the corresponding 'WHITE RICE' line. For brown rice, use the 'BROWN RICE' line. As a general guide, for every 1 cup of uncooked white rice, add 1.5-2 cups of water. For brown rice, add 2-2.5 cups of water per cup of uncooked rice. Adjust water amount to personal preference.

  6. Close Lid: Close the lid securely until it clicks into place.
  7. Select Function: Press the 'WHITE RICE' or 'BROWN RICE' button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the cooking process will begin.
  8. Automatic Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the rice cooker will automatically switch to the 'KEEP WARM' mode. The display will show '00' or a similar indicator.
  9. Serve: For best results, allow rice to rest in 'KEEP WARM' mode for 10-15 minutes before serving. Use the provided rice paddle to fluff and serve.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your rice cooker.

  1. Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Inner Pot: The stainless steel inner pot should be hand washed with warm, soapy water. For stubborn stuck-on rice, soak the pot in warm water for a few minutes before cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads to prevent scratching.
  3. Removable Steam Vent: The steam vent on the lid can be removed for thorough cleaning. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry completely before reattaching.
  4. Lid and Main Unit: Wipe the inside and outside of the lid, and the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Never immerse the main unit in water.
