3. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the rice cooker and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the stainless steel inner pot, measuring cup, and rice paddle with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel Overview

- WHITE RICE: For cooking white rice.
- BROWN RICE: For cooking brown rice.
- PORRIDGE: For cooking congee or porridge.
- SOUP: For preparing soups.
- KEEP WARM / OFF: Toggles between keeping warm and turning off the unit.
- Digital Display: Shows cooking time or status.
4.2 Cooking Rice (White or Brown)
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One full measuring cup is approximately 180ml.
- Wash Rice: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Add to Inner Pot: Place the washed rice into the stainless steel inner pot.
- Add Water: Add water according to the markings inside the inner pot. For white rice, align the water level with the corresponding 'WHITE RICE' line. For brown rice, use the 'BROWN RICE' line. As a general guide, for every 1 cup of uncooked white rice, add 1.5-2 cups of water. For brown rice, add 2-2.5 cups of water per cup of uncooked rice. Adjust water amount to personal preference.
- Place Pot in Cooker: Ensure the inner pot is properly seated inside the main unit.
- Close Lid: Close the lid securely until it clicks into place.
- Select Function: Press the 'WHITE RICE' or 'BROWN RICE' button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the cooking process will begin.
- Automatic Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the rice cooker will automatically switch to the 'KEEP WARM' mode. The display will show '00' or a similar indicator.
- Serve: For best results, allow rice to rest in 'KEEP WARM' mode for 10-15 minutes before serving. Use the provided rice paddle to fluff and serve.

4.3 Other Functions (Porridge, Soup)
Follow similar steps for measuring ingredients and adding water. Select the 'PORRIDGE' or 'SOUP' button as appropriate. Refer to specific recipes for ideal ingredient ratios and cooking times.
4.4 Keep Warm Function
To manually activate the 'KEEP WARM' function for pre-cooked food, ensure the inner pot is in place and press the 'KEEP WARM / OFF' button. Press again to turn off.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your rice cooker.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
- Inner Pot: The stainless steel inner pot should be hand washed with warm, soapy water. For stubborn stuck-on rice, soak the pot in warm water for a few minutes before cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads to prevent scratching.
- Removable Steam Vent: The steam vent on the lid can be removed for thorough cleaning. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry completely before reattaching.
- Lid and Main Unit: Wipe the inside and outside of the lid, and the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Never immerse the main unit in water.
- Accessories: Wash the measuring cup and rice paddle with warm, soapy water and dry.

6. Troubleshooting
