2. Setup Guide

2.1. Battery Installation

  1. Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main weather station unit. Insert 2 x AA IEC LR3 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
  2. Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert 2 x AAA IEC LR3 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.

After the DCF-77 signal is received, you may need to adjust the time zone. Use the SET button to enter time setting mode and the + button to adjust the time zone offset (+/- 12 hours) if your location is not in the Central European Time Zone.

3.3. Setting the Alarm

  1. Press the ALARM button once to display the current alarm time.
  2. Hold the ALARM button until the hour digits flash. Use the + button to adjust the hour.
  3. Press ALARM again, and the minute digits will flash. Use the + button to adjust the minutes.
  4. Press ALARM to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
  5. To activate or deactivate the alarm, press and hold the ALARM button briefly. An alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Battery Replacement

When the low battery indicator appears on the display for either the main unit or the outdoor sensor, replace the batteries promptly. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time with new ones of the same type.

4.2. Cleaning

Wipe the unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the plastic components and display.

4.3. Sensor Placement

Periodically check the outdoor sensor's placement to ensure it remains protected from direct weather elements and is within effective transmission range of the main unit. Obstructions like thick walls or metal structures can reduce signal strength.
