Remote Sensor (TX)

Initial Operation
- Open the main unit battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries observing polarity (+ and - marks). All icons on the LCD will light up for 3 seconds, and a beep tone will be heard, then indoor temperature & humidity will be detected.
- The main unit will start connecting to the outdoor remote sensor (max 3 minutes), indicated by a flashing reception antenna symbol ?.
- Open the remote sensor battery compartment cover, use the channel switch to select the channel, insert 2 x AAA batteries observing polarity, and press the °C/°F button to select the temperature unit.
- After connecting to the remote sensor, the unit enters DCF Radio control time receive mode. The backlight turns off during reception and returns to normal afterward.
Reception of the Radio Signal
- Press and hold the [−] button to manually enter DCF radio control receiving function. The backlight temporarily turns off if using adapter power.
- During DCF receiving mode, the symbol ? flashes. When a valid signal is detected, the symbol stops flashing. Reception ends after a few minutes.
- A successfully received signal is indicated by a checkmark ✔️. A previous successful reception with a last failed reception is indicated by a crossed-out checkmark ❌.
- The clock automatically synchronizes with the DCF signal at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 AM. If unsuccessful, it attempts synchronization hourly up to 5 times.
- To stop RC reception, press the [−] button once.
- For optimal reception, place the unit at least 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) from interference sources like TVs or computer monitors. Radio reception is weaker in rooms with concrete walls; place near a window in such cases.
- During RC receive mode, only [Light/Snooze] and [−] buttons are functional. Press [−] to exit RC mode for other operations.
Manual Time Setting
- Press and hold the [−] button for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode. The Hour starts flashing.
- Use the [+] and [−] buttons to set the desired value. Press the [−] button to confirm and move to the next setting.
- Setting sequence: RCC ON/OFF → DST ON/OFF → Time zone → 12/24HR → HOUR → MINUTE → DATE Format (D/M or M/D) → YEAR → MONTH → DATE → Language of WEEK → Temperature Unit (°C/°F) → Pressure unit (hPa/mb or inHg) → Current standard air pressure → Current weather.
- Press and hold [+] or [−] to adjust values quickly.
- Press the [−] button to confirm the last item and return to normal mode.
- In 12-hour format, "PM" indicates post meridiem.
- The 7 languages for day of week abbreviations are:

If there is no valid operation within 20 seconds, the unit returns to normal time mode.
Setting the Daily Alarms
- Press the [−] button to set Alarm1 and Alarm2 ON or OFF. An alarm symbol ? indicates the alarm is ON.
- Press the ? button once to display Alarm1 time (5 seconds), then press the ? button again to display Alarm2 time (5 seconds). Pressing again returns to the current time display.
- To set Alarm1 time: Press and hold the ? button for 2 seconds until the Hour flashes. Use [+] or [−] to set the Hour.
- Press the ? button to confirm and proceed to set: Alarm1 Minute → Alarm1 repeat period → Snooze time of Alarm1.
- Repeat periods: M-F (Monday to Friday), S-S (Saturday to Sunday), M-F (Monday to Sunday).
- Snooze time can be set from 1-30 minutes or OFF.
- Alarm2 can be set similarly.
- If no operation within 20 seconds, the unit returns to alarm time set mode.
- Press and hold [+] or [−] to adjust values quickly.
- The alarm will sound for 2 minutes if not deactivated.
Turn OFF the Alarm Sound
- When the alarm is ringing, press any button except [SNOOZE] to stop the sound.
- Touch and hold the [SNOOZE] button for 2 seconds to stop the alarm sound.
Snooze Function
- When the alarm is ringing, touch the [SNOOZE] button once to activate snooze mode. The alarm will ring again after the set snooze time.
RF Transmission Procedure
- The main unit automatically receives temperature & humidity data from the remote sensor after batteries are inserted.
- The remote sensor automatically transmits data after batteries are inserted.
- If the main unit fails to receive transmission (indicated by "- -.- " and "--" on the LCD), press and hold the [CH] button for 2 seconds. The RF icon ? will flash, and the main unit will rescan for the signal.
- The main unit can receive signals from up to 3 channels. Press the [CH] button to switch between channels. The symbol ? appears when data from different channels is displayed automatically every 5 seconds.
Maximum / Minimum Numerical Value of Memory
- The main unit records maximum and minimum temperature/humidity values.
- Press the [+] button once to display the maximum value. Press [+] again to display the minimum value. "MAX" or "MIN" will be displayed on the LCD.
- Press and hold the [+] button for 3 seconds to reset the maximum/minimum values to the current actual value.
- Memory values are automatically cleared at 0:00 every night.
Weather Forecasting Function
Warning: Consider local weather forecasts alongside your weather station's forecast. If discrepancies exist, the local forecast is authoritative. The weather forecast is based on barometric pressure fluctuations and may differ from actual conditions.
The weather station displays the following weather symbols:

Moon Phase
The weather station automatically displays the current lunar phase:
? New moon, ? Waxing crescent, ? Waxing half-moon, ? Waxing gibbous, ? Full moon, ? Waning gibbous, ? Waning half-moon, ? Waning crescent.
Ice Alert
The ice alert symbol ❄️ appears and flashes when the remote sensor temperature is between -1.0°C and 2.9°C (30.2°F and 37.3°F).
Outdoor Temperature Alert
- Press the [A] button to set the Outdoor temperature alert function ON or OFF for the currently displayed channel. Press [CH] to switch channels.
- Symbol HIA indicates the over-upper-limit alert is ON. Symbol LOA indicates the over-lower-limit alert is ON. Disappearing symbols mean the alert function is OFF.
- Press and hold the [A] button for 2 seconds to enter the temperature limit setting mode. Use [+] or [−] to set the value, and press [A] to confirm. Press [CH] to set limits for other channels.
- When the outdoor temperature exceeds the set limit, the temperature value and corresponding icon will flash. A beep reminder sounds if the temperature remains outside the set limit upon refresh.
Comfort Level
Different comfort levels are displayed based on humidity:

Window Opening and Closing Prompt
The system uses symbols to remind users whether to open or close windows based on indoor and outdoor humidity calculations:
- OPEN: It is recommended to open the window.
- CLOSE: It is recommended to close the window.
Trend Display
The LCD displays current temperature/humidity/barometric pressure and their trends. After connecting with the remote sensor, outdoor temperature/humidity and change trends are shown.
Background Lighting
- When using the adapter, press the [?] button to adjust backlight brightness.
- Touch the [SNOOZE/LIGHT] button once to jump to the brightest backlight for 15 seconds.
- When powered by battery only, touch the [SNOOZE/LIGHT] button once to turn on the backlight for 15 seconds.
About AC/DC Power Supply
Do not use the device:
- If the power supply or cable is damaged.
- If the device has been damaged in any way.
Precautions:
- Never use sharp objects to access the power supply. Do not disassemble or throw the power supply into a fire. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the product or its components.
- Do not expose the product to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Do not incinerate.
- Do not install the power supply near heat sources (radiators, ovens, amplifiers).
- Do not store or use the product in temperatures outside the range of -10 to 70°C (storage) or 0 to 40°C (use).
- Do not place the power supply near water or moisture (bathtubs, sinks, pools, damp basements). Avoid splashes. Do not place objects filled with water near the appliance.
- Connect the power supply to an easily accessible DC outlet. Ensure the power cord is not crushed or pinched.
- The supplied power supply is for indoor use only. Do not place naked flame sources (e.g., lit candles) on or near the power supply.
- Unplug the power supply during lightning storms or long periods of non-use. Turn off the device before disconnecting the power cable.
- This device is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or those lacking experience, unless supervised by a responsible person. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device.
- If the power supply works abnormally (emits sounds or odors), unplug it immediately and have it examined by a qualified repairer. The socket-outlet must be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
