1. Important Safety Instructions

READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

This product should only be used in accordance with the specifications described in this manual. Any use other than specified herein may result in serious injury.

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• To avoid fire or electric shock hazards, plug the appliance directly into a suitable AC power outlet.
• To avoid fire hazards, NEVER place the cable under carpets, near heating grilles, radiators, stoves, or heaters.
• To avoid electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse it in water or other liquids. Do not use near water or in wet or damp locations.
• Children cannot recognize the dangers associated with the use of electrical appliances. For this reason, always supervise children when they are near the unit.
• Always unplug the air purifier before moving it, opening the grille, changing filters, cleaning it, or whenever the air purifier is not in use. Be sure to pull the plug, not the cord.
• NEVER drop or insert objects into openings.
• DO NOT run the cable under carpeting.
• DO NOT cover the cable with rugs or similar coverings.
• DO NOT run the cable under furniture or appliances; place it away from traffic areas where it could be tripped over.
• DO NOT use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged, if the motor fan does not rotate, if the appliance malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
• The use of the appliance for other purposes is not recommended, as it may cause fires, electric shocks, or personal injuries.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• DO NOT place anything on top of the unit.
• NEVER block air openings, grille/outlets, or place the unit on a soft surface, such as a bed or sofa, as this could cause the unit to tip over, blocking the air inlet or outlet.
• DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical function of this unit. Otherwise, the warranty will be void. The inside of the unit contains no user-serviceable parts. All repairs must be performed only by qualified personnel.
• Keep the appliance on a level surface.
• To avoid the danger of suffocation, keep it away from children.
• Refer to the safety instructions in the manual for more information.

2. Product Features

The air purifier is designed to capture 99.97% of dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, mold spores, and household odors, allowing you to breathe easily.

The activated carbon filter removes large dust particles, pet dander, and household odors. The HEPA filter traps up to 99.9% of contaminants as small as 0.3 microns, such as pollen and dust mites, and filters PM2.5 air pollution.

Note: To protect the HEPA filter, it is wrapped in a plastic bag before shipping. Be sure to remove the plastic bag before installing and turning on the air purifier for the first time.

5. Setup

Pre-Operation Instructions:

1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging box and plastic bag.
2. Remove the filter and adapter from the air purifier, remove the protective plastic, and insert the filter into the unit.
3. Place the unit on a firm, level, and flat surface.
   • For proper airflow, place the unit at a minimum distance of 30 cm from any wall or furniture.
   • Ensure that none of the grilles are blocked.
4. Plug the power adapter into a suitable AC power outlet. A beep will sound, and the power icon will light up and remain steady. The appliance enters standby mode.

IMPORTANT:

• When moving the air purifier, always lift it firmly with both hands and place it carefully on a flat and level surface.
• Do not use any power adapter other than the one supplied with the unit.

6. Operating Instructions

Power Button ()

Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn the air purifier on/off. To deactivate the ambient light, press the button twice.

Fan Speed Button ()

When the air purifier is on, press to adjust the 3 fan speed levels and cycle through 1-low, 2-medium, 3-high, automatic, and sleep modes. The corresponding speed level will illuminate when selected.

Child Lock Function ()

Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to activate the child lock function. When activated, the indicator light turns red. To deactivate, press and hold the button for 3 seconds again, and the indicator light will turn white.

Anion Purification Function

The air purifier is equipped with a high-energy negative ion generator that continuously produces negative ions. These ions effectively gather indoor floating dust, smoke, and bacteria, causing them to fall quickly and purify the air, thus posing no threat to human health.

Smart Control (APP & Voice Control)

Use your air purifier with the "pjrobot" app. Download the "pjrobot" app for more air purifier functions.

Before you start, make sure that:

• Your smartphone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
• Your smartphone runs iOS 10.0 (or higher) or Android 5.0 (or higher).
• The 2.4 GHz band wireless signal is active on your wireless router.
• Ensure the air purifier is powered on during installation.
• Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and the app has access to your Bluetooth permissions.

1. Download "pjrobot" from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
2. Open the app and create a user account.
3. During Wi-Fi network setup, press and hold the Wi-Fi icon for 3 seconds and listen for a "beep" to connect.
4. Press the "+" or "Add device" icon to find Small Home Appliances and select Wi-Fi air purifier.
5. Follow the App's instructions to configure the Wi-Fi connection.

Timer Button ()

When the air purifier is on, press to set a timer for 2H, 4H, or 8H, or to deactivate the timer. When a timer is selected, the corresponding timer indicator will light up. Note: Only 3 timer settings are supported.

Power-off Memory Function

If a sudden power outage occurs during air purifier operation, it can return to its previous operating state once power is restored (Note: Time settings, child lock, and sleep mode do not have memory functions).

7. Maintenance

General Cleaning

Clean the air purifier at least once a month with a clean, dry, soft cloth or a vacuum cleaner. More frequent cleaning may be necessary depending on environmental conditions.

Important Notes:

• DO NOT insert foreign objects or fingers into the appliance.
• DO NOT use gasoline, benzene, or other abrasive or strong cleaning products on and/or in the appliance during cleaning, as they will damage the product.
• NEVER use alcohol or other solvents.

Filter Maintenance and Replacement

The air purifier is equipped with a filter life detection system that activates a red flashing indicator light when the filter element has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement.

Filter Replacement Steps:

1. Before replacing the filter, disconnect the power adapter and place the air purifier upside down on a table.
2. Rotate the air inlet grille counter-clockwise and remove it.
3. Replace the old filter with a new one.
4. Follow the arrow direction on the bottom cover and twist it clockwise to secure it in place.
5. After replacing the filter, turn on the device and press the reset button. If the indicator light and ambient light flash while two beeps are heard, it indicates that the filter has been successfully reset.

Warm Tip:

It is recommended to replace the filter element every three months for optimal health benefits.

Why use original HEPA filters?

Original filters ensure clean air, longer lifespan, and reliable service. Activated carbon filters should have good adsorption performance. For HEPA filters, be sure to choose a genuine H13 standard certified filter. Our filter is certified to the H13 True HEPA standard, capturing 99.95% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns.

10. User Tips

• Optimal Placement: For best performance, ensure the air purifier is placed at least 30 cm away from walls and furniture to allow for proper 360° air intake and circulation.
• Pet-Friendly Homes: The PJ08 is specifically designed for homes with pets. Utilize the pet hair adsorption layer to efficiently capture pet fur and maintain filter longevity.
• Smart Control Convenience: Leverage the "pjrobot" app for remote control, real-time air quality monitoring, and scheduling. This allows for hands-free operation and smart purification based on your needs.
• Regular Filter Checks: Pay attention to the filter indicator light and the app's filter life monitor. Replace the filter every 3-6 months, or more frequently in heavily polluted environments, to maintain purification efficiency.
• Quiet Operation: For undisturbed sleep, activate the Sleep Mode, which operates at a low noise level of 25dB.
• Child Safety: Use the Child Lock function to prevent accidental changes to settings by children or pets.

11. Warranty and Support

Warranty Coverage:

The original manufacturer offers a limited 1-year warranty and a 2-year warranty for electronic components.

Limited Warranty:

This limited warranty applies only to the repair or replacement of any part manufactured or supplied with this product which, after inspection by our authorized personnel, is found to have failed under normal use due to a defect in material or workmanship. Our sole responsibility under this limited warranty is, at our sole discretion, to repair or replace the duly registered product (or the defective part) with the same model or a comparable model within a reasonable time, subject to the following exclusions, limitations, statutory rights, and warranty claim procedures. This limited warranty is exclusive, and we expressly disclaim all other warranties or additional warranties, whether written or oral, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, manufacture, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Exclusions:

This limited warranty does not apply, or is void, to any product or part damaged by:

1. Accident, misuse, abuse, lack of reasonable care, or normal maintenance;
2. Installation or operation under conditions other than those recommended by the factory;
3. Submitting the product to a voltage other than that specified;
4. Maintenance or disassembly by unauthorized personnel;
5. Deletion or alteration of the serial number;
6. Modifying the original factory-assembled appliance in any way.

B. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO SHIPPING COSTS OF PRODUCTS TO OR FROM THE FACTORY OR DESIGNATED SERVICE CENTER UNDER WARRANTY CLAIMS, NOR TO DAMAGES INCURRED DURING ANY SHIPMENT.

C. This limited warranty does not apply to installation, disassembly, reinstallation, and/or related costs. This limited warranty does not apply to replaceable filters and high-energy grid wires.

Limitations:

The factory shall not be liable for material, accessory, and/or indirect damages of any kind, and, unless otherwise provided by applicable state law, the factory shall not be liable for personal injury damages resulting from malfunctions, defects, misuse, improper operation or installation, or modification of a factory product or part thereof. The sole remedy for breach of this limited warranty is repair or replacement of the defective product. In no event shall liability under any other remedy prescribed by law exceed the purchase price of the product.

Statutory Rights:

This limited warranty, subject to the exclusions and limitations set forth above, grants you specific legal rights in addition to any statutory rights you may have under applicable state law.

However, some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
