The XOSS G+ Gen.3 is an advanced GPS bike computer designed for cyclists to track and analyze their ride data. It features a large 2.8-inch display, customizable functions, and extensive sensor connectivity. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, setup, operation, and maintenance of your device.

3. Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your XOSS G+ Gen.3 Bike Computer:
- Attach Rubber Pad: Put the protection rubber pad on the back of the bike computer mount.
- Secure Mount: Use the provided rubber bands to secure the mount to your bicycle's handlebar or stem.
- Mount Bike Computer: Align the tabs on the back of the device with the grooves on the bike mount. Press down slightly and rotate the device 90 degrees until it locks securely into place.

4. Initial Setup
4.1 GPS Positioning
- Power On: Long press the right button to turn on the device.
- Start GPS Search: Short press the left button to begin searching for GPS signals. The GPS icon will appear and flash.
- Acquire Signal: Remain static for a few minutes in an open, barrier-free area to acquire a GPS signal. The device is ready when the GPS icon stops flashing and a BEEP prompt sounds.
- End Workout: After ending your ride, long press the left button to save the workout. The bike computer will then return to its initial interface.
Note: The device only supports outdoor recording and requires an open space for GPS signal acquisition.
4.2 Connecting with XOSS APP
The XOSS App allows for advanced settings and data analysis. It is designed for Bluetooth 4.0 or later versions.
- Download App: Search for "XOSS" in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or scan the QR code provided in the manual to download.
- Enable Bluetooth: Turn on your XOSS G+ Gen.3 and ensure your phone's Bluetooth is active.
- Connect in App: Open the XOSS App, navigate to
Devices > Bike Computers > G/G+to connect.

4.3 Initial Device Settings
Many settings can be configured via the XOSS App after connection:

5.1 Basic Controls
- Left Button: Short press to Start/Pause/Resume recording. Long press to End recording.
- Right Button: Short press to Switch data display. Long press to Power on/Off.
5.2 Customizable Function Button ("X" Button)
The middle button (marked with an "X") on the G+ Gen.3 is a customizable function button. It can be configured via the XOSS App to perform one-tap functions such as:
- Turning on/off connected lights (e.g., CBL1600X headlight, Nebula taillight).
- Lap counting.
- Toggling between different light modes.

5.3 Custom Data Layout & Display
The G+ Gen.3 allows for a customizable display, showing up to 13 data items per page. You can select and arrange the data fields according to your preferences through the XOSS App (Firmware version 1.09+ and XOSS App Android 3.10.2+/iOS 3.11.0+ required).

5.4 Lap Counting
The G+ Gen.3 supports four types of lap counting:
- Time-Based: Automatically counts a lap when a set time interval is reached.
- Distance-Based: Automatically counts a lap when a set distance is reached.
- Location-Based: Press the middle button to mark a location. The computer will automatically count a lap each time it reaches this marked location.
- Manual: Press the middle button once to complete a lap and start the next.
Note: All lap counting modes require successful GPS positioning to start. Long press the left button to end laps.
6. Sensor Connection (ANT+)
The XOSS G+ Gen.3 supports connection to various external sensors via ANT+ protocol, including headlights, taillights, power meters, speed sensors, cadence sensors, and heart rate monitors.
- Proximity: Bring the device within 3 meters of your sensors. Ensure you are at least 10 meters away from other riders' sensors to avoid interference.
- Initiate Pairing: Press both the left and right buttons simultaneously on the XOSS G+ Gen.3 until the sensor icon starts flashing. This indicates the device is searching for active sensors.
- Confirm Connection: If pairing is successful, the sensor icon will remain static. If you need to adjust settings, press the right button again to enter the "Tire Circumference" setting interface.

7. Firmware Upgrade
When new firmware is available, the XOSS App will prompt you to update. It is recommended to keep your device updated to the latest firmware for optimal performance and new features.
- If you encounter issues during firmware upgrade (e.g., stuck at DFU mode), try toggling Bluetooth off and on again in your phone's settings, then reconnect the XOSS App to retry the upgrade.

- GPS Signal Issues: Ensure you are in an open, barrier-free outdoor area and remain static when searching for a GPS signal. The device does not support indoor training.
- Sensor Compatibility: The XOSS G+ Gen.3 supports ANT+ sensors. Older XOSS sensors that use the ANT+ protocol should be compatible.
- Firmware Update Failure: If the device gets stuck during a firmware update, try turning your phone's Bluetooth off and then back on, then reconnect to the XOSS App and attempt the update again.
