8. Troubleshooting
- Sensor Not Connecting: Ensure the sensor is awake (move the bike/crank). Check if Bluetooth or ANT+ is enabled on your receiving device. Verify the battery is not depleted and the insulation sticker is removed.
- Inaccurate Readings: Confirm the sensor is securely mounted and in the correct orientation for the selected mode (speed on wheel hub, cadence on crank arm). Ensure the mode is correctly set in the XOSS APP.
- App Sync Issues: Check your device's internet connection. Ensure the XOSS app is updated to the latest version.
- Short Battery Life: Extreme temperatures can affect battery performance. Ensure the sensor is not left in direct sunlight or very cold conditions for prolonged periods.
9. User Tips
- For the most accurate speed readings, ensure the sensor is mounted on the wheel hub and the wheel size is correctly calibrated in your cycling computer or app.
- When using for cadence, mount the sensor on the non-drive side crank arm for best results.
- Regularly check the battery level via the XOSS app to avoid unexpected power loss during a ride.
- Keep your XOSS app updated to benefit from the latest features and performance improvements.
- If you experience connectivity issues, try restarting both the sensor (by removing and reinserting the battery) and your receiving device.
