The Elitech RC-51H is a multi-use temperature and humidity data logger designed for various applications including medicine, food, life science, floriculture, breeding industry, ice chests, containers, shady cabinets, medical cabinets, refrigerators, laboratories, and greenhouses. This device offers plug-and-play functionality, allowing direct generation of data reports without the need for additional data management software. Data remains accessible even if the battery runs out.

4. Parameter Instruction
Users can reconfigure the parameters using data management software as needed. The original parameters and data will be cleared upon reconfiguration.

5. Operating Instructions
This data logger can be stopped by software. Users can stop the logger by clicking the stop button in the data management software.

5.2. Viewing Data Report
When the data logger is inserted into the USB port of the computer, the data report will be created automatically. The red and green indicators flash in turn when the document is being created, and the LCD screen shows the progress of PDF Report creation. The red and green indicators light at the same time immediately after the document is created, then users can view the data report. The document creation will last for no more than 4 minutes.

- Rotate the transparent cap in the direction of the arrow and remove it.
- Insert the data logger into the computer and view the data report.
7. Maintenance
7.1. Replace Battery
The RC-51H data logger features a replaceable battery. To replace the battery:

- Press the bayonet in the direction of the arrow and remove the battery cover.
- Place a new ER14250 button cell battery.
- Install the battery cover in the direction of the arrow.
7.2. Safety Information
The product should avoid contact with chemicals like unstable chemical solvents or other organic compounds. Particularly, it should not be stored in or exposed to environments that contain high concentrations of ketene, acetone, ethanol, isopropanol, toluene, etc. Do not use the product in soil for a long time.

8. Troubleshooting
- Device not responding: Ensure the battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. If the device is connected to a computer, check the USB connection.
- No PDF report generated: Ensure the device is properly connected to a USB port. Wait up to 4 minutes for the report generation process to complete. If issues persist, try a different USB port or computer.
- Inaccurate readings: Verify that the device is not exposed to extreme conditions beyond its specified operating range. Ensure the sensor area is clean and unobstructed.
- Logger not starting/stopping: Confirm that the button press duration is sufficient (e.g., 5 seconds for manual operations). If using software control, ensure the software is correctly installed and functioning.
9. User Tips
- For optimal battery life, store the data logger in conditions between +15°C to +23°C and 45% to 75% relative humidity.
- Always ensure the transparent cap is securely fastened to maintain the IP67 waterproof rating, especially in humid or wet environments.
- When connecting to a computer, allow a few moments for the device to be recognized and the PDF report to generate automatically.
