4. Setup

4.1 Charging

Use the provided magnetic data cable to charge your OpenSwim Pro S710. A 10-minute charge provides approximately 3 hours of listening time.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Keep holding until the blue light stays on, then flashes red and blue alternately. You will hear the voice prompt "pairing".
  2. On your mobile device, open Bluetooth settings and select "SHOKZ" from the list of available devices.
  3. Once successfully connected, you will hear the system prompt "Connected".

4.3 Dual Device Connection (Multi-point Pairing)

To connect your OpenSwim Pro S710 to two devices simultaneously:

  1. With the headphones off, long press the "Volume+Key" button until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately (System prompt: "pairing in progress").
  2. While still in pairing mode, press and hold both the "Volume+Key" and the multifunction key for 3 seconds. You will hear a system prompt confirming "enable dual pairing".
  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your first device, search for and pair with "SHOKZ". You will hear "Connected". Then, turn off the headphones.
  4. Repeat step 1 to enter pairing mode again.
  5. Turn on Bluetooth on your second device, search for and pair with "SHOKZ". You will hear "Connected". Then, turn off the headphones.
  6. When you turn the earphones on, they will automatically connect to both devices. You will hear "Connected" and "Second device connected" respectively, indicating successful multi-point connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Switching Between Bluetooth and MP3 Modes

The OpenSwim Pro S710 supports both Bluetooth and MP3 modes. You can switch between these modes by pressing a dedicated key on the headphones or through the Shokz App.

5.2 EQ Sound Effect Switching

During music playback, press and hold both the "Volume+" and "Volume -" keys for 3 seconds to cycle through available EQ sound effects. A system prompt will confirm successful switching. Note that EQ switching is a sequential loop.

5.3 Checking Battery Level

When the earphones are not playing music, press both the "Volume+" and "Volume -" keys simultaneously. A system prompt will announce the battery level: "High battery", "Medium battery", "Low battery", or "Please charge". It is recommended to charge the earphones when the prompt is "Low battery".

5.4 Using the Shokz App

The dedicated Shokz App allows you to customize sound effects, button functions, and manage your listening experience. Download the app for a comprehensive understanding and personalized settings.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning after Seawater Exposure: Seawater is highly corrosive. Always clean your OpenSwim Pro S710 thoroughly with fresh water immediately after contact with seawater to prevent damage.
  • Avoid Extreme Heat: Do not wear the headphones during a hot bath or sauna. High temperatures and steam can compromise the device's waterproof seals and internal components, affecting both safety and functionality.
  • General Cleaning: For general cleaning, wipe the headphones with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
