APP Installation Procedure
How to operate:
- Download "Smart Life" App: Two ways to get the APP: A. By scanning the QR code. B. Search "Smart Life" on Google Play (for Android system) or App Store (for Apple-iOS).
- Register and sign in APP: Run the APP. Login with your account & password. For the first time using, you need to register a new account.
- Configuration:
- Power the WIFI LED Lamp. If not configured, it functions as a normal LED lamp.
- How to connect to WiFi:
- If no network is configured, the white light flashes for 18 seconds and prompts to configure the network when powering on the device.
- You can use the App to configure the network within 3 minutes after powering on the device.
- The product can be reset, and the network can be cancelled after powering on and off for 5 consecutive times.
- Open the "Smart Life" APP, click the "+" button, select the WIFI network, and enter the password (if applicable). Tap "next". (Note: Currently does not support 5G band WiFi network).
- The app proceeds through the configuration process. Once connected, the "Add successfully" message appears. The name of the smart lamp in the app is "ZF-Magic-F13".
- If you select "AP mode" after clicking "Add devices", you need to go to WiFi settings and connect to the hotspot. After connecting, search for the WiFi router (no password). Device is connected.
How to connect Smart Lamp to Alexa
- Launch Smart Life App, sign in your account, and make sure the Smart Lamp is in the device list.
- Modify the device name so Alexa can easily recognize it, e.g., "Living Room Light", "Bedroom Light", etc.
- Minimize the Smart Life APP, then launch the Alexa App and sign in your Alexa account. Ensure you have at least one Alexa voice-controlled device installed (like Echo, Echo Dot, etc.).
- On the Home page, click the menu button (☰) in the upper left corner. Then click "Skills" in the menu.
- Type "Smart Life" in the search bar and click the search button next to it.
- Enable the "Smart Life" skill, then sign in your Smart Life account to complete the account linking.
- After linking the account successfully, you can ask Alexa to discover devices. Alexa will show all discovered devices after 20 seconds.
- Back to the Menu by clicking the menu button (☰), and then click the "Smart Home" button.
- On the Smart Home page, you can group your devices by different categories. Your Smart Life APP has been linked with Alexa. Now you can control your Smart Lamp through Alexa.
Example commands:
- "Alexa (or Echo), set [bedroom light] to 50 percent."
- "Alexa (or Echo), increase [bedroom light] to 50 percent."
- "Alexa (or Echo), set [kitchen light] to blue."

Touch Control Instructions
- Click: To switch the Magic Color Mode.
- Long Press: To switch RGB Mode.
- Click Once: Adjust brightness (1-level brightness, totally 11-level brightness).
- Long Press: To adjust the color temperature.
- Click Once: Turn ON or OFF.
Remote Control Instructions
Signal receiving point is located on the lamp. Recommended distance <3.5m/11.5ft.
- ON/OFF: Powers the lamp on or off.
- BRIGHTNESS +/-: Adjusts the brightness level.
- MAGIC MODE PREV/NEXT: Cycles through different magic color modes.
- SPEED +/-: Adjusts the speed of color transitions in magic modes.
- PLAY/PAUSE: Pauses or resumes the current lighting effect.
- COLOR TEMPERATURE +/-: Adjusts the white light color temperature.
- WARM WHITE: Sets the light to warm white.
- NATURE WHITE: Sets the light to nature white.
- COOL WHITE: Sets the light to cool white.
- RGB MODE +/-: Cycles through different RGB color modes.
- 3 COLOR SEGMENTS: Displays three distinct color segments.
- 16 COLOR SEGMENTS: Displays sixteen distinct color segments.
- 7 COLOR SEGMENTS: Displays seven distinct color segments.
- PLANT LIGHTING: Activates a mode optimized for plant growth.
- TURN OFF IN 1 MINUTES: Sets a timer to turn off the lamp in 1 minute.
- TURN OFF IN 45 MINUTES: Sets a timer to turn off the lamp in 45 minutes.
Assembly Instructions
- Step 1: Connect part D to part A.
- Step 2: Connect the cable with the connector to part A.
- Step 3: Connect the assembled top section (containing A and D) to the main pole section.
- Step 4: Insert the LED module into the top housing of the lamp.
- Step 5: Assemble the pole sections (E) by screwing them together and attach the base (F) to the bottom pole section.
- Step 6: Connect the base with the assembled pole and attach the main lamp body. Connect parts B and C to the base.
Warm Tips
- Please check whether the device is connected with power and your phone is connected with Wi-Fi.
- Check routers: If the router is dual-band, please select a 2.4GHz network to add the device. Ensure the router broadcasting function is enabled.
- Set up the wireless router: Set the encryption method as WPA2-PSK, authorization type as AES, or set both to auto. The wireless mode cannot be 5GHz only. Please name your router WiFi in English. Keep the device and router within a certain distance for a strong WiFi signal.
- Check if connected devices have reached the maximum number supported by the router. If so, try turning off the WiFi connection of some devices.
- Make sure the router's wireless MAC filtering function is enabled.
- Remove the device from the filter list and ensure the router is not prohibiting the device from connecting.
- Make sure the entered password is correct when adding a new device.
