General Safety and Installation Precautions

Devices must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all national and local electrical and construction codes and regulations. The document also provides instructions in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic.

To avoid proximity sensor false triggering, please ensure all unearthed metal structures and mains cables are more than 30 cm (11.81 in) away from the user interface.

Important Warnings:

  • Do not connect inputs to mains.
  • Disconnect power before connecting or separating modules.
  • Refer to the Service Guide for full cleaning recommendations.

Installation Steps

  1. Mounting the Device:[Diagram 1: Shows the device being mounted into a wall or backbox, with multiple mounting points indicated.]
  2. Wiring Connections:[Diagram 2: Illustrates connecting wires to the device terminals. Wires enter from the side and connect to labeled terminals.]

    Connection terminals include: +V, D-, D+, GND, SHLD.
