Operation Notes
Weight Plate Selection
Use the weight selector pin to select the number of weight plates for your exercise. Ensure the pin is completely inserted and do not insert it while the weight stack or top plate is elevated. Never use dumbbells or other means to increase weight resistance; use only the provided weight plates. For safety, insert the lock pin into the guide rod hole when the equipment is not in use to prevent weight plates from moving.
Exercise Guidelines
Building Muscle and Gaining Weight
Unlike aerobic exercise, anaerobic exercise focuses on strength training. Gradual weight gain can occur while building muscle size and strength. Your body adapts to stress; modify your diet to include protein-rich foods like meat, fish, and vegetables to aid muscle recovery.
Muscle Strength and Endurance
Develop an exercise program that works all major muscle groups equally. To increase muscle strength, increase resistance while maintaining repetitions. To tone your body, decrease resistance and increase repetitions. Once comfortable, adjust resistance, repetitions, or speed. Lifting heavier weights fewer times typically builds strength, while 15-20 repetitions per set build both strength and endurance.
Training Intensity
Training intensity should depend on your overall fitness level. Gradually increase load and reduce sets if experiencing soreness. Avoid injury by starting slowly and adjusting load to your individual fitness level, increasing it as your fitness improves.
Maintenance and Care
Lubricate moving parts periodically with WD-40 or light oil. Inspect and tighten all parts before use. Clean the equipment with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid solvents. Regularly examine for damage or wear and replace defective components immediately. Failure to perform regular checks may affect safety.
