Preparation for Use
Ensure the following:
- Mobile phone is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
- The smart phone and the smart gateway are in the same Wi-Fi network to ensure an effective connection.

MOES App Download and Registration
- Download the MOES App from the App Store or scan the QR code. (The MOES App offers enhanced compatibility and features compared to Tuya Smart/Smart Life apps, though those still function.)
- Open the MOES App. Access the Register/Login interface. Tap "Register" to create an account using your phone number for a verification code and set a password. If you already have an account, choose "Log in".
Add Device
- Power on the gateway and connect it to your router using a network cable. Ensure both gateway indicators are lit. (If a reset is needed, press and hold the reset button for over 5 seconds.)
- On the MOES App's Home page, tap the [+] icon in the upper right corner to add a device, or tap the code scanning entrance in the upper right corner.
- Scan the QR code on the device to pair it with the network. (Example Serial Number: SN: ZR118061234567)
- Once the device is added successfully, you can edit its name and proceed to the device page by clicking "Done".
Note: Sub-devices can only be added via the MOES App.
Bridging to Apple Home
APP Download
- Open the App Store, search for "HomeKit", and download the app.
- Open the Home app and log in using your local iCloud account.
Matter Share Code Location
Navigate to the gateway panel, click the '...' icon in the upper right corner, then select "Share via Matter Gateway" to access the Matter Sharing Code interface.
Add Device to Apple Home
- Confirm that the MOES App is configured with the Matter gateway.
- Open the Home app on your iPhone and tap the plus sign [+] in the upper right corner. Click "Add Accessory" and follow the on-screen guide to add the device.
- Scan the QR Code for Matter Sharing to pair it with the network.
- If you cannot scan the QR code, tap "I Don't Have a Code" or "Cannot Scan", then input the serial number for adding.
- The device will be added successfully.
Note: A smart home hub (e.g., HomePod, Apple TV, iPad) must be set up. The Wi-Fi network must be on the same Local Area Network (LAN) as the hub. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone before adding.
Bridging to Google Home
APP Download
- For Android: Download the "Google Home" app from Google Play.
- For iOS: Download the "Google Home" app from the App Store.
- Sign in, create a home, and add a Matter-enabled hub (refer to Google device instructions).
Matter Share Code Location
Navigate to the gateway panel, click the '...' icon in the upper right corner, then select "Share via Matter Gateway" to access the Matter Sharing Code interface.
Add Device to Google Home
- Confirm that the MOES App is configured with the Matter gateway.
- Open the Home app on your mobile phone and follow the application guide to add the device.
- If you cannot scan the QR code, tap "Set up without QR code", then input the serial number for adding.
- The device will be added successfully.
Note: A "Matter-enabled hub" must be set up. The configured Wi-Fi network and the Matter-enabled hub must be on the same Local Area Network (LAN). Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone before adding.
Note: Sub-devices can only be added via the MOES App.
Material Compatibility and Usage Requirements
Currently supports Wi-Fi and Thread for single products; no gateway support at this time.
Compatibility:
- Apple: iOS mobile system 16.3.1 and above; HomePod version 16.3.2 and above.
- Google: GHA >= 2.67.16.1
- Amazon: Nest Hub >= 1.56.324896
Notes: Ensure iOS system is above 16.3.1. A smart home hub is required for adding Matter devices to the 'Home' app. Wi-Fi must be on the same LAN as the hub. Enable Bluetooth before adding.
Instructions
Add Sub-device
Sub-devices can be added after the gateway is successfully added. Please refer to the instructions within the MOES App for adding sub-devices.
Reset Network
Press and hold the gateway button for more than 5 seconds to reset the device. After initialization, the device will enter the distribution network state again. Repeat the steps for [Add Device].
Notes: Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network before adding the gateway. For a smoother connection, keep the phone close to the gateway and on the same Wi-Fi network. If the device fails to add or is not in the distribution network state after power-on, reset the device by holding the button for over 5 seconds and try again.
Service and Warranty
MOES offers a two-year worry-free after-sales service (freight not included). Please do not alter the warranty service card. For product quality issues within 24 months of receipt, prepare the product and packaging for maintenance at the point of purchase. Personal damage may incur repair fees.
Warranty Service Refusal Conditions:
- Damaged appearance, missing LOGO, or service term expired.
- Products disassembled, tampered with, privately repaired, modified, or with missing parts.
- Burned circuits or damaged data/power interfaces.
- Damage from foreign matter intrusion (fluids, sand, dust, soot, etc.).
