Additional Safety Instructions for Your 12V Air Compressor
- Designed for occasional use. Prolonged inflation may cause overheating and damage. Do not operate for more than 15 minutes at a time; allow 15 minutes rest afterwards.
- Inspect compressor and battery before each use. Have damaged parts repaired by a qualified person.
- Never expose the compressor or battery to rain, frost, or temperatures above 50°C.
- Never use near flammable fluids or gasses. Ensure the area is well lit.
- Protect yourself against electric shock by avoiding contact with grounded surfaces.
- Never leave children unattended with the compressor.
- Never allow anyone to pump air into body parts of people or animals. This is not a toy.
Connection to the Power Supply
Ensure the power supply information on the machine's rating plate is compatible with your intended power supply.
This product is supplied with a UK standard 3-pin plug, designed for connection to a 230V AC domestic power supply.
This appliance is Class II (double insulated), requiring no earth connection. If using an extension lead, ensure it is suitable for outdoor use and fully unwound, as coiled leads can generate heat.

Preparing the Compressor
Charging the Battery (230V Mains)
Important: Charge for at least 3 hours before first use. Do NOT store the battery inside the unit when not in use.
- Remove the battery from the compressor by pressing the locking tab [6] and pulling the battery downwards.
- Plug the 3-pin plug into a 230V mains socket and connect the charger port to the battery. The LED on the plug will illuminate red.
- Charging is finished when the LED on the charger changes from red to green. This may take up to 3 hours. The unit should run for approximately 15 minutes per charge.
Note: It is recommended not to charge the battery for more than 5 hours.
Notes on Run-time:
- Typical run-time varies with battery level, pressure load, and operating conditions.
- High-pressure loading or excessive back pressure can result in a shorter run-time.
- Cold temperature conditions reduce battery run-time; using the 12V DC Adaptor/Charger is recommended in such conditions.
Charging the Battery (12V Adaptor/Charger)
- Unravel the cord before use. Ensure the cord runs through the hole at the base of the pack.
- If the battery is installed, remove it from the compressor as detailed in section 8.1.
- Slide the 12V Adapter/Charger pack into the compressor unit until it locks into place.
- Connect the adapter into the DC socket in your car. Power the car on. Always operate the vehicle outdoors.
Operation
Inflating Tyres
- Loosen the attachment lock approximately 3 rotations anticlockwise. Do not remove the lock completely.
- Insert the air hose with the threaded connector into the attachment lock. Press firmly and screw clockwise until it can go no further.
- Tighten the attachment lock clockwise until hand-tight to create an air-tight seal around the thread.
- Press the Power button below the LCD display to turn on.
- Note: The digital tyre gauge will turn off automatically after 30 seconds of inactivity to conserve energy.
- To choose the desired pressure format (PSI, BAR, KPA), press the power button continuously until the desired format displays.
- Screw the threaded connector onto the tyre's valve stem. When connected, the gauge will show the current tyre pressure.
- Press "+" or "-" to set the desired pressure level. After setting, wait a few seconds for the current tyre pressure to display.
- Note: Always check and follow the manufacturer's recommended pressure, usually located on the inside of the vehicle's door. For bicycle tyres, check markings on the tyre.
- Ensure the trigger lock is in the unlock position, then press the trigger.
- The compressor will begin to inflate the tyre to the set pressure level and shut off automatically when reached.
- When done, press the trigger once to turn off, and slide the trigger lock to the lock position.
- Remove the thread connector from the tyre quickly, and replace the valve stem cap on the tyre if required.
- Note: Tyre pressures should be checked with a tyre pressure gauge to BSEN12645:1999.
- Warning: The connector may be hot. Use caution when removing.
- Warning: The LCD display must turn on before operating the air inflator. Use a separate pressure gauge for more accurate reading.
Using the Lamp
- To switch the lamp on, press [1] once to activate the 18 white SMD LEDs.
- Press [1] again to activate the 18 red SMD LEDs.
- Press [1] once more to activate the 18 red SMD LEDs in SOS form.
- To switch all lights off, press [1] once again.
Inflating Items with Additional Tips
- Insert one of the additional nozzles into the threaded end of the air hose and screw in hand tight.
- Operate the compressor as described in section 8.1.
