Battery Requirements

Controller (42997TX): Requires 2 x 1.5V AA (R6/LR6) batteries (not included).

RC Car (42997RX): Requires 6 x 1.5V AA (R6/LR6) batteries (not included).

Alkaline batteries are required.

Batteries included are for "Try Me" purposes and may need replacement after purchase for optimal performance.

Battery Installation Instructions

Diagram Description: Visuals show the battery compartments for the controller and the car. The controller requires two AA batteries, and the car requires six AA batteries. Ensure batteries are inserted with the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated in the compartment.

To Avoid Battery Problems:

• NEVER mix old and new batteries or different brands of batteries.
• NEVER mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), and rechargeable batteries.
• NEVER dispose of batteries in fire, as they may leak and explode.
• ALWAYS remove batteries when exhausted or if the product will be unused for a long time.
• ALWAYS have an adult install batteries according to installation instructions.
• ONLY use batteries specified by the manufacturer.
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity (+ and -).
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Battery Safety Information:

WARNING! Battery acid leakage can cause personal injury and damage to the product and surrounding property. If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid away from eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. Immediately wash any clothing or other surface that comes in contact with leaked battery acid. Leaking batteries may make "popping" sounds. Always remove replaceable batteries before disposing of the product. Dispose of batteries or products with non-replaceable batteries according to applicable battery and recycling laws.

Operation

ON/OFF Switches: The product features ON and OFF switches for power control.

Try Me Mode: The "Try Me" mode allows for a demonstration of the toy's functions. Instructions are provided for removing the "Try Me" cable.

Mechanism Play: This refers to the functional mechanisms of the toy during play.

Adult Supervision Required: Always play in safe surroundings, away from streets or moving vehicles. Some younger children may need assistance with assembly.

Troubleshooting

If the toy stops working:

1. Remove batteries from the toy.
2. Let the toy sit for several minutes, then replace the batteries with fresh ones.
3. Note: Toy performance may be affected when using non-alkaline or rechargeable batteries.
