F3501QQ110V Ceiling Fan
Installation & Operating Instructions
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To ensure correct function and safety, please read and save all instructions before using the product.
Safety Precautions
- WARNING: SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER before beginning installation or servicing.
- Read all instructions and safety information carefully before installing your fan and save these instructions.
- Ensure all electrical connections comply with local codes or ordinances and the National Electrical Code. Use a qualified and licensed electrician if unfamiliar with electric wiring.
- Select a location allowing clear space for blades to rotate, with at least seven (7) feet of clearance between the floor and the fan blade tips. The fan should be mounted at least thirty (30) inches from walls or other upright structures.
- The outlet box and ceiling support joist used must be securely mounted and capable of supporting at least 100 pounds. Mount to an outlet box marked acceptable for fan support, using provided mounting screws. The box must be supported directly by the building structure.
- To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, mount to an outlet box marked "acceptable for fan support" and use mounting screws provided with the outlet box. Many common outlet boxes for lighting fixtures are not acceptable for fan support and may need replacement. Consult a qualified electrician if in doubt.
- Electrical diagrams are for reference only. Light kits must be UL listed and marked suitable for use with this fan model. Switches must be UL general use switches. Refer to instructions packaged with light kits and switches for proper assembly.
- After installation, check that all connections are absolutely secure.
- After making electrical connections, push spliced conductors carefully up into the outlet box, with the grounded conductor and equipment-grounding conductor on one side.
- WARNING: Do not use this fan with any solid-state fan speed control device or rheostat.
- Do not separate the reverse switch until the fan has come to a complete stop.
- Do not insert anything into the fan blades while they are rotating.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the blade brackets (also referred to as "flanges") during assembly or after installation. Do not insert objects in the path of the blades.
- To avoid personal injury or damage to the fan and other items, be cautious when working around or cleaning the fan.
- Do not use water or detergent when cleaning the fan or fan blades. A dry dust cloth or lightly dampened cloth is suitable for most cleaning.
NOTE: The important safety precautions and instructions are not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations. Common sense and caution are necessary in installation and operation.
NOTE: This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless supervised or trained by a person responsible for their safety.

Installation Steps
WARNING: SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
Step 1: Mount the Fan
Secure the mounting bracket to the outlet box using the provided mounting screws and washers (including spring washers). Ensure the outlet box and joist are securely mounted and capable of supporting at least 100 pounds.
Step 2: Assemble the Downrod and Motor
Feed the wires from the fan motor through the downrod. Attach the downrod to the motor housing, securing it with the provided pins and screws. Attach the canopy and decorative cover over the downrod.
Step 3: Wiring Connections
Connect the receiver (Model GA043) to the fan motor and house wiring. Connect the house supply wires to the receiver's input wires (e.g., AC IN L, AC IN N). Connect the receiver's output wires to the fan motor wires (e.g., TO MOTOR L, TO MOTOR N, TO MOTOR U, TO MOTOR D). Use the plastic wire nuts for secure connections. Ensure all wiring complies with electrical codes.
Step 4: Attach Fan Blades
Attach the blade brackets to the fan blades using the provided screws. Then, attach the assembled blades and brackets to the fan motor housing.
Step 5: Final Checks
Verify that all screws are tight, including blade screws, blade bracket screws, and downrod screws. Ensure all wiring connections are secure and neatly tucked into the outlet box.

Troubleshooting
The Fan Wobbles
Cause: Most fan wobble problems are caused by loose parts or unequal blade levels.
Solution:
- Verify that all blade and blade bracket screws are secure.
- Allow the fan to run for 10 minutes to self-adjust.
- If wobble persists, check blade level: Select a point on the ceiling above the tip of one blade. Measure the distance from the center of the blade to that point. Rotate the fan and repeat the measurement for each blade. Measurements should be within 1/8 inch (0.32 cm) of each other.
- If wobble is still noticeable, use the enclosed Blade Balancing Kit. Follow the kit's instructions.
- As a last resort, interchanging two adjacent blades can sometimes redistribute weight and improve balance.
NOTE: Ceiling fans tend to move slightly during operation due to rubber grommets, which is normal and does not indicate a problem. Movement of a few centimeters is acceptable.

Light is Not Working
Solution:
- Check that the bulb is installed correctly.
- Remove the non-working bulb and replace it with a bulb that is known to be working.
- To reset the remote control:
- Turn off power to the fan using the wall switch or circuit breaker.
- Remove batteries from the remote control.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Replace batteries and turn power back on.
Care and Cleaning
NOTE: MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF AT THE ELECTRICAL PANEL BOX BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT ANY CLEANING OR REPAIRS.
- Periodic cleaning is the only maintenance required. Use a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish.
- Do not use water when cleaning your ceiling fan, as it could damage the motor or blades and create an electrical shock hazard. A lightly dampened cloth is suitable for most cleaning.
- The motor has permanently lubricated ball bearings; no oiling is needed.
