WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, mount to an outlet box marked "Acceptable for fan support of 15.9 kg (35 lbs) or less" and use the mounting screws provided with the outlet box and/or support directly from the building structure.
Outlet Box Mounting:
Install the mounting bracket onto the Outlet Box with Mounting Screws. NOTE: The mounting bracket is designed to slide into place on an outlet box with the outlet box screws.
Wooden Ceiling Mounting:
Use the Mounting Bracket as a guide, drill 4 holes for 3MM diameter. Install the mounting bracket onto the wooden ceiling with the 4 Self Tapping Screws & Washers.
Concrete Ceiling Mounting:
Use the Mounting Bracket as a guide, drill 4 holes and insert 4 Expansion Bolts into the concrete ceiling. Install the mounting bracket and secure with Flat Washers, Spring Washers, and Nuts.
2. Downrod Assembly
Insert the Hanger Ball into the top of the downrod. Secure the downrod with the Clevis pin and Lock pin. Ensure the Lock pin is fully inserted. Tighten the Set Screws on the downrod.
IMPORTANT: THE DOWNROD AND HANGER BALL SHOULD NOT ROTATE IF THIS STEP IS DONE CORRECTLY.
3. Wiring Connections
Connect the wires from the ceiling to the controller (receiver) and then to the fan motor and light. Use the provided wire connecting nuts.
FROM POWER SOURCE: AC 110-120VOLT 60Hz 3.5AMPS.
- Earth/Ground: (Green/Yellow wire)
- Live/Line: (Black wire from AC IN L)
- Neutral: (White wire from AC IN N)
Connect the controller's output wires to the fan motor (MOTOR U, V, W) and light (LIGHT N, LIGHT L) via the LED Driver.
Ensure all connections are secure.
4. Mounting the Fan
Lift the fan assembly and hang it on the mounting bracket using the Hanger Ball. Ensure the Hanger Ball is properly seated in the mounting bracket.
5. Final Connections and Finish
Complete any remaining wire connections and secure the canopy to the mounting bracket.
Transmitter Setting
To use factory pre-programmed setting: Skip the programming steps. Insert battery (Not included) into the transmitter, turn on the power supply to the fan, and it is ready to use.
Before proceeding with programming: Read all steps carefully. Each step must be followed exactly.
First Use Instruction:
- Dial up to position "O": This setting is for on/off control of the lighting only, providing the brightest light.
- Do not dial down to position "D" (This function is not available).
Second Use Instruction (for multiple fans):
- If you have more than one unit of this fan model in close proximity, it is equipped with self-learning. Do not press any key during self-learning.
- Set the second unit to position "1" (or "0" position if used directly on one product).
- Turn on the power to the fan.
- Within 30 seconds after hearing a "Beep", press and hold the LEARN button for 3 seconds. The receiver will "Beep" twice, and the light will flash twice, indicating successful programming/self-learning. The fan is now ready to use.
Transmitter Function
Fan Speed:
Buttons 1-6 control fan speed, with 1 being the lowest and 6 being the highest.
Fan Off:
Press the button to turn off the fan.
Timing the Fan:

Troubleshooting Guide
Table of Contents:
- 1. Fan/Transmitter is not working
- 2. Fan is noisy
- 3. Light is not working
- 4. Fan Wobbles
Please refer to the instruction sheet for detailed directions and descriptions of installation steps and requirements.
1. Fan/Transmitter is Not Working
- Ensure the transmitter is within the 20-foot range of the receiver.
- Refer to the TRANSMITTER SETTING instructions to set the transmitter.
- Check batteries to ensure they are good and oriented correctly. The indicator should light up when a button is pressed.
- Check main and branch circuit fuses or breakers.
- Check line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing per the instructions.
- If the fan still does not work, please contact Customer Service at Support@parrotuncle.com.
2. The Fan is Noisy
- Make sure all motor housing screws are tightened.
- Make sure the screws attaching each fan blade to the motor are tight.
- Ensure wire nut connectors are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing.
- Allow a 24-hour break-in period. Most noises associated with a new fan may disappear during this time.
- If using a ceiling light kit, ensure the glassware is secured tightly.
- Ensure there is adequate clearance between the ceiling and the top of the canopy. The canopy should not touch the ceiling.
- Make sure your ceiling box is secure and that the rubber isolator pads are used between the mounting bracket and outlet box.
3. Light is Not Working
- Check the bulb to ensure it is installed correctly.
- Remove a non-working bulb and replace it with a bulb known to be good.
4. The Fan Wobbles
- Verify all blades and blade bracket screws are secure (most wobble problems are caused by loose parts).
- Once the fan is properly installed, run it for 10 minutes to allow it to self-adjust.
- If wobble occurs after 10 minutes, verify blade level using the following process:
- Select a point on the ceiling above the tip of one blade. Select the fan blade and measure from the center of the blade to the ceiling point. Rotate the fan until the next blade is positioned and repeat the measurement using the same ceiling point for every blade. Measurements should be within 1/8 inch.
- If all deviations are less than 1/8 inch and the fan continues to wobble, please contact Customer Service at Support@parrotuncle.com to order a complimentary Blade Balancing Kit.
- If all deviations are less than 1/8 inch and the fan continues to wobble, please contact Customer Service at Support@parrotuncle.com to order a complimentary Blade Balancing Kit.
Maintenance
Due to the fan's natural movement, connections may loosen over time. To ensure proper and safe usage, inspect the suspension system and tighten all connections every 6 months.
Cleaning
Cleaning your fan periodically will prolong its useful life. Basic cleaning procedures are as follows:
- Shut off the power before cleaning the fan or replacing bulbs.
- Bulbs and nearby parts may be hot after the power is shut off. Clean them after they have cooled down to avoid burns.
- Do not use sandpaper, wire brushes, or other sharp tools to clean the fan.
- Do not clean the fan using detergents, acid, or alkaline solvents.
- Use only a soft or lint-free cloth for cleaning.
- After cleaning, dry the fan with cold-blast air to prevent dangerous leakage caused by water infiltration into electrical parts or prevent rust of wet metal parts.
- There is no need to oil the fan.
