This document provides assembly instructions for the IKEA GONATT crib.

Assembly Steps

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your GONATT crib:

Step 1

Attach the base supports to the side panels using screws and dowels. Ensure correct orientation.

Visual Description: Two side panels are laid flat. Dowels are inserted into pre-drilled holes. Screws are used to connect the base supports to the side panels.

Step 2

Assemble the main frame of the crib. Connect the side panels and the headboard/footboard using the provided hardware.

Step 3

Attach the drawer runners to the side panels.

Visual Description: Drawer runners are screwed into the interior of the crib's side panels.

Step 4

Insert the drawer base into the drawer sides.

Step 5

Attach the drawer front to the drawer sides.

Step 6

Slide the assembled drawer into the crib frame.

Visual Description: The completed drawer unit is slid into the runners within the crib.

Step 7

Attach the top rail to the crib frame.

Visual Description: The top rail is secured to the upper part of the crib frame with screws.

Step 8

Attach the caster wheels to the bottom of the crib.

Visual Description: Caster wheels are screwed into the designated spots on the underside of the crib.

Step 9

Attach the cover caps to conceal the screw heads.

Visual Description: Cover caps are pressed into place over visible screw heads.

Step 10

Attach the drawer handles.

Visual Description: Drawer handles are attached to the drawer fronts.

Step 11

Insert the mattress support into the crib frame.

Visual Description: The mattress support slats are placed into the crib frame.

Step 12

Secure the mattress support with screws.

Visual Description: Screws are used to fix the mattress support in place.

Step 13

Attach the side rails to the crib frame.

Visual Description: The crib's side rails are attached to the main frame.

Step 14

Secure the side rails with the provided hardware.

Visual Description: Screws and cam locks are used to firmly attach the side rails.

Step 15

Final check of all connections.
