Assembly Instructions

General Information

Welcome to the assembly instructions for the IKEA SMÅGÖRA crib. Please read through all instructions before beginning assembly.

Tools Required: Screwdriver (Phillips head) ?, Hammer ?.

Important: Do not use power tools. Ensure your assembly area is clean and protected with a soft material like a blanket or rug to prevent scratches. ?️

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Prepare Base

Lay out the two base frame pieces. Insert 8x screws (Part 101350) into the pre-drilled holes on the base pieces.

Step 2: Attach Side Panels to Base

Connect the two side panels to the assembled base. Insert 4x wooden dowels (Part 105907) into the designated holes on each side panel. Secure each side panel to the base using 4x screws (Part 100514).

Step 3: Attach Top Rails

Attach the two top rails to the upper part of the side panels. For each top rail, insert 4x dowels (Part 105907) and 4x cam lock screws (Part 100001) into the side panels. Secure the top rails by inserting 4x cam locks (Part 119245) and tightening them. Also, use 4x screws (Part 147168) for each top rail connection.

Step 4: Install Mattress Support Frame

Attach the mattress support frame to the inside of the side panels. Insert 4x cam lock screws (Part 148624) into the side panels. Secure the mattress support frame by inserting 4x cam locks (Part 100001) and tightening them.

Step 5: Attach Side Rails

Attach the two side rails to the frame. For each side rail, insert 2x wooden dowels (Part 105907), 2x cam lock screws (Part 100001), and 2x screws (Part 147168) into the side panels. Secure the side rails using 2x cam locks (Part 119245) for each.

Step 6: Insert Mattress Slats

Carefully insert all the mattress support slats into the slots on the inside of the side rails and the mattress support frame. Ensure they are evenly spaced for proper mattress support.

Step 7: Final Check

Ensure all screws and cam locks are tightened securely. The crib is now assembled and ready for use.
