General Assembly Recommendations

Before starting assembly, ensure you have all parts and tools. It is recommended to assemble the crib on a soft surface, such as a rug, to prevent scratches. Assistance from another person is advised for easier and safer assembly.

Assembly Steps

Follow these steps to assemble your SMÅGÖRA crib:

1. Prepare Base: Insert 8x wooden dowels (101350) into the designated holes on the base structure.
2. Attach Side Panels to Base: Connect the two main side panels to the base structure, aligning the dowel holes.
3. Install Headboard/Footboard: Insert cam lock bolts (e.g., 105907, 10050797) into the pre-drilled holes on the side panels and the headboard/footboard pieces.
4. Secure Connections: Attach the headboard/footboard pieces to the side panels. Insert cam lock nuts (e.g., 100001, 100514) into the corresponding holes on the side panels and tighten them using the Allen key (119245) or a screwdriver to secure the structure. Repeat this process for all four corners where the side panels meet the headboard/footboard.
5. Install Mattress Base Supports: Place the mattress base support slats into the grooves on the inner sides of the crib frame.
6. Secure Mattress Base: Use the provided hardware (screws, cam lock nuts, dowels as shown in various steps) to fix the mattress base supports in place, ensuring they are stable.
7. Final Assembly: Complete the assembly by attaching any remaining panels or supports as indicated in the diagrams.
8. Position Crib: Once fully assembled, carefully tilt or move the crib to its desired location. Ensure all connections are tight and the crib is stable before use.

The assembly process involves connecting the main crib panels, securing them with cam lock systems and screws, and then installing the mattress base supports.
