Creator Series, Monitor Audio's fourth-generation of architectural speakers pushes the boundaries of integrated speaker solutions by including advanced acoustics technologies, and clever functional design elements. Increasing the flexibility of any Creator Series speaker, the all-new Mount Boxes allow a contemporary surface-mount, 'on-wall' and 'on-ceiling' solution, where fully integrated options might be more difficult to install.

Using with CI Amplifiers
When using the Mount Boxes with the Creator Series speakers and Monitor Audio's Installation Amplifiers, there are dedicated EQ and protection presets already created in the speaker library. These ensure optimum performance of the loudspeaker in the Mount Box.

Mounting Options
Flush Mounting
This mounting option is used when the cable is recessed into the wall/ceiling. Follow these steps to secure the Mount Boxes on the wall or ceiling.
Important Notes:
- Check for pipes or cables in the wall or ceiling before drilling.
- If unsure about providing a secure fixing, seek advice from a professional installer.
- Minimum recommended screw specification: No. 10 Pan Head screw.
Installation Steps
- Use the template to mark fixing points and cable hole. Note the keyhole bracket location for the first fixing point.
- Drill holes according to wall construction and fixing type.
- Insert a screw into the wall/ceiling at the keyhole bracket location, leaving it proud by approximately 5mm.
- Cut the grommet on the Mount Box to fit the cable size, ensuring an airtight seal.
- Feed the speaker cable through the mount box grommet.
- Slot the Mount Box over the first screw and tighten slightly.
- Secure the Mount Box using the remaining fixing points.
- Check alignment and adjust by loosening screws if necessary.
- Cover screw holes with supplied stickers to prevent air leaks.
- Fit the Quik-Link from speaker packaging onto the speaker cable.
- Attach the Quik-Link to the speaker.
- Fit the speaker into the Mount Box.
- Fit the Mount Box Grille securely. The grille supplied with the speaker is not needed.

Raised Mounting
This mounting option is used when the cable is outside of the wall/ceiling or the surface is uneven. Follow these steps to secure the Mount Boxes on the wall or ceiling.
Important Notes:
- Check for pipes or cables in the wall or ceiling before drilling.
- If unsure about providing a secure fixing, seek advice from a professional installer.
- Minimum recommended screw specification: No. 10 Pan Head screw.
Installation Steps
- Use the template to mark fixing points and cable hole. Note the keyhole bracket location for the first fixing point.
- Drill holes according to wall construction and fixing type.
- Insert a screw into the wall/ceiling at the keyhole bracket location, leaving it proud by approximately 5mm.
- Add the supplied feet to position the Mount Box away from the wall/ceiling.
- Cut the grommet on the Mount Box to fit the cable size, ensuring an airtight seal.
- Feed the speaker cable through the mount box grommet.
- Slot the Mount Box over the first screw and tighten slightly.
- Secure the Mount Box using the remaining fixing points.
- Check alignment and adjust by loosening screws if necessary.
- Cover screw holes with supplied stickers to prevent air leaks.
- Fit the Quik-Link from speaker packaging onto the speaker cable.
- Attach the Quik-Link to the speaker.
- Fit the speaker into the Mount Box.
- Fit the Mount Box Grille securely. The grille supplied with the speaker is not needed.
Diagrams illustrate the raised mounting process, similar to flush mounting but includes adding feet (step 4) to create a gap (15mm) between the box and the wall/ceiling.
