References to "Instruction Manual" include the "Quick Start Guide", "Notes on Usage (Warranty)", and "Full Instruction Manual", all originally in Japanese.

Using the Product
- Read the "Safety Precautions (Observe Strictly)" before use for correct operation.

- Maintain a distance of at least 20 cm from your body during communication, ensuring no metal objects are between you and the product.
- Communication may be affected by signal strength and may be interrupted in areas with poor reception.
- While 5G, LTE, and WiMAX 2+ systems offer secure communication, third-party interception of radio waves is theoretically possible.
- This product is designed for use in Japan only and is intended for indoor use.
- As a radio station under the Radio Law, the product may be subject to inspection.
- IMEI information is automatically sent to your carrier for maintenance and operational status monitoring.
- The Company (KDDI CORPORATION, OKINAWA CELLULAR TELEPHONE COMPANY, ZTE Corporation, ZTE Japan K.K.) is not liable for damages from natural disasters, third-party actions, customer misuse, or other unusual conditions.
- The Company is not liable for incidental damages, business losses, or data alteration/loss due to product use, inability to use, or malfunctions, including those caused by incompatible connected devices or software.
- It is recommended to back up important data regularly.
- Do not discard the product with regular trash. Cooperate in collection efforts to protect the environment. Old products can be collected at au Style/au shops.

WARNING
- Do not subject the product to strong force, impacts, or vibration (e.g., dropping, stepping on, throwing). This may cause fire, burns, injury, or electric shock.
- Do not allow conductive materials (metal objects, pencil lead) to contact the power terminal or LAN port, or allow dust to enter them. This may cause fire, burns, injury, or electric shock.
- Do not cover or wrap the product with bedding while in use. This may cause fire or burns.
- If you notice unusual signs (odor, noise, smoke, heat, discoloration, deformation) during operation or storage, immediately disconnect the power plug and remove connected devices. Failure to do so may cause fire, burns, injury, or electric shock.

- Do not place the product on unstable or inclined surfaces. This may cause the device to fall and cause injury.
- Avoid use or storage in very humid, dusty, or high-temperature locations. This may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- If children use the product, guardians should instruct them on proper handling to prevent accidental ingestion, injury, or electric shock.
- Keep the product out of reach of small children and pets. This may prevent accidental ingestion or injury.
- The product may become warm during continuous use. Avoid prolonged, unintentional contact, especially when sleeping. Contact with hot parts may cause skin redness, itching, rash, or low-temperature burns.
Main Unit
DANGER
- Do not throw the product into fire or apply heat. This may cause fire, burns, or injury.
- Do not apply excessive force, such as inserting sharp objects, hitting with hard objects, or stepping on the product. This may cause fire, burns, or injury.
WARNING
- Do not allow liquids, metal pieces, burnable items, or foreign objects into the SIM card slot. Do not insert the SIM card incorrectly. This may cause fire, burns, injury, or electric shock.
- Follow medical facility instructions when using the product on their premises. Do not use where prohibited. Radio waves may affect electronic medical equipment. Consult the manufacturer if you wear electronic medical equipment.
- Do not use the product near electronic devices or equipment requiring high precision control or operating on weak signals, as radio waves may interfere with their operation. This includes hearing aids, pacemakers, and other medical devices.
- Be careful not to let pets bite the product. This may cause heat generation, leading to fire, burns, or injury.
CAUTION
- If skin abnormalities develop, stop use and seek medical treatment. Use may cause itching, rashes, or eczema depending on the user's condition.
- Ensure no metal pieces adhere to the NFC part, as it generates magnetism. This can cause injuries.
AC Adapter
WARNING
- Do not use the AC adapter if the cord is damaged. This may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- Do not touch the AC adapter during thunder. This may cause electric shock.
- Do not short-circuit the DC plug while connected to a power outlet. Do not touch the DC plug with any part of your body. This may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- Do not place heavy objects on the cord or pull it forcefully. This may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- When plugging/unplugging, avoid contact with metal objects. This may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- Do not connect a voltage converter to the AC adapter. This may cause ignition, heat generation, or electric shock.
- Do not apply excessive force to the connection part between the AC adapter and the product. This may cause fire, burns, injury, or electric shock.
- Do not touch the DC plug or power plug with wet hands. This may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- Use the AC adapter only with the specified power supply and voltage (100V AC). Incorrect voltage may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- Wipe dust off the power plug. Dust can cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- Insert the power plug firmly into the outlet. Loose insertion may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- When disconnecting, grasp the plug, not the cord, to avoid cord damage.
- Connect/disconnect the AC adapter to/from the product by inserting/removing the plug straight. Incorrect connection may cause fire, burns, injury, or electric shock.
- If the AC adapter connector is deformed (bent), stop use immediately. Do not attempt to repair it. Failure to do so may cause short-circuit and lead to fire, burns, or injury.
- Always remove the AC adapter from the power outlet when not in use. Leaving it connected may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.
- If liquid gets on the AC adapter, immediately remove the power plug from the outlet. Failure to do so may cause short-circuit and lead to fire, burns, or electric shock.
- Before cleaning, remove the power plug from the outlet. Failure to do so may cause fire, burns, or electric shock.

- Be careful of the cut surface when handling the SIM card, as it may cause injury to fingers or other body parts.
Using Near Medical Equipment or in Healthcare Facilities
WARNING
- If you have electronic medical equipment (e.g., pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillator), keep the product at least 15 cm away from the implant at all times. Radio waves may affect the operation of such equipment.
- For other electronic medical equipment used outside medical facilities, consult the manufacturer regarding radio wave effects.
- If there is a chance the distance to others may be less than 15 cm (e.g., when you cannot move freely), turn off the product's radio emission function in advance. This is to protect individuals who may be using medical devices.
- Follow instructions given by medical facilities when using the product on their premises. Radio waves may affect electronic medical equipment.

Handling Precautions
These precautions are provided to prevent product damage and ensure optimal performance. Read them thoroughly for correct use.
Precautions Common to Main Unit, AC Adapter, SIM Card, Ethernet Cable, Peripheral Devices
- Do not apply excessive force during use. Avoid packing the product tightly in a bag or placing heavy objects on it. If a cable is connected, excessive force may damage the connector or cause malfunction, which is not covered by warranty.
- Do not use in extremely hot, cold, or humid places (Recommended: 0℃ to 40℃ ambient temperature, 5% to 90% humidity).
- Avoid places with excessive dust or vibration, as this may cause malfunction.
- Periodically clean the power terminal or LAN port with dry cotton swabs. Soiled terminals can cause poor connection. Do not deform terminals during cleaning.
- Clean the product with a soft dry cloth (like for eyeglasses). Rubbing too hard may scratch the unit. Water or dirt left on the surface may cause staining. Using solvents like thinner, benzine, detergent, or glass cleaner may erase printing or cause malfunction.
- If using alcohol wet tissues or disinfectant sprays, wipe off any remaining alcohol or liquid agent with a damp cloth afterward.
- Keep the product as far as possible from land-line phones, TVs, or radios to prevent interference.
- The product may become warm during use, which is normal.
- Do not place near corrosive chemicals or in areas where corrosive gas is generated. This may cause malfunction.
- Do not use when thunder is heard outdoors, as it may pose a risk of lightning strikes and electric shock.
- Always use the specified AC adapter. Using a different adapter may cause malfunction.
- Do not place the product in cooking apparatus like microwave ovens or pressure vessels. This may cause malfunction.
- Customers are not permitted to disassemble, modify, or repair the product. Doing so may cause malfunction and violates Radio Law and Telecommunications Business Act.
- Avoid contact of body parts (fingers) or conductive foreign objects with the power terminal or LAN port to prevent short circuits, which may cause malfunction.
- Do not splash liquids on the product or use it in humid places (e.g., bathrooms) or with wet hands. This may cause malfunction due to short-circuit or corrosion. Malfunctions due to water or humidity are not covered by warranty.
- If the product gets wet, immediately disconnect the AC adapter's power plug.
- Using the product covered with bedding may cause malfunction.
- When connecting the AC adapter or PC, insert/remove plugs and connectors straight and ensure correct orientation to prevent malfunction.
- Do not use, store, or leave the product in direct sunlight, hot, extremely cold, humid, or dusty places. This may cause malfunction.
- Do not place the product on unstable or inclined surfaces. It may drop and cause malfunction.
- Do not exceed the rating of power outlets or wiring devices when using the product (e.g., through daisy-chaining).
Main Unit
- Do not press, hit, or apply strong impact to the unit. This may cause scratches or damage.
- Do not press keys with fingernails, sharp objects, or hard objects. This may cause scratches or damage.
- The "Technical Conformity Mark" on the IMEI label certifies compliance with Radio Law and Telecommunications Business Act. Do not remove this sticker.
- Never use a modified product, as it violates the Radio Law and Telecommunications Business Act. Modifications to internal components will invalidate the certification.
- Keep magnetized items (magnetic cards, speakers, TVs) away from the product to prevent malfunction or false operation.
- Do not bring magnetized cards (cash cards, credit cards) near the product, as it may cause loss of recorded data.
- Condensation may form inside the product if moved from a cold to a warm place, or used in humid or temperature-fluctuating environments. This humidity can cause corrosion or malfunction.
- Use the product with the SIM card slot cover closed. An open cover can allow dust or water ingress, causing malfunction.
- Do not allow liquids, metal objects, or foreign objects into the SIM card slot. This may cause malfunction.
- Do not subject the product to strong impacts like dropping, throwing, or stomping. This may cause malfunction.
- Do not place the product directly on sand or similar materials, as ingress can cause malfunction.
- Do not cover the unit's ventilators. This may cause malfunction.
AC Adapter
- Do not wrap the AC adapter cord around the adapter unit, bend the connection part forcefully, place heavy objects on the cord, or pull it forcefully. This may cause malfunction.
- Grasp the power plug when removing it from the outlet; pulling the cable may damage it.
- Connect the AC adapter to an outlet that allows easy disconnection in case of abnormality.
Ethernet Cable (Sample)
- Do not bend the connection part of the Ethernet cable to the product or PC forcefully. Do not place heavy objects on the cord or pull it forcefully. This may cause malfunction.
- When disconnecting, grasp the plug. Pulling the cable may damage it.
SIM Card
- Do not forcibly remove or insert the SIM card. Be careful not to exert excessive force when inserting.
- You are responsible for any damage caused by inserting your SIM card into other devices.
- Do not place stickers or other items on the SIM card.
- Do not insert the SIM card with a conversion adapter, as this may cause malfunction.
- Do not damage the SIM card by exposing it to heat, fire, foreign objects, impact, bending, load, or moisture. This may cause data loss or malfunction.

Backup Content on the Product
Back up important registered content. Data stored in the product's memory may disappear or be altered due to factors like static electricity, malfunctions, repairs, or mishandling.
Cautions on Using 5 GHz Band
The Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi®) function uses the 5 GHz band. Outdoor use of the 5.2 GHz and 5.3 GHz bands is prohibited by the Radio Law; this product is dedicated to indoor use.

- W52 (5.2 GHz band): 36, 40, 44, 48 ch
- W53 (5.3 GHz band): 52, 56, 60, 64 ch
- W56 (5.6 GHz band): 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132, 136, 140, 144 ch
