Marantz SR7015 AV Surround Receiver

Quick Start Guide

Welcome

Thank you for choosing a Marantz AV receiver. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up your AV receiver.

Before You Begin

Required for Setup

Optional

Note: When connecting to devices compatible with Deep Color, 4K, ARC, and eARC, use a "High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet". For 8K and 4K 120Hz video, use an "Ultra High Speed 48 Gbps HDMI cable". These are illustrative drawings and may not represent the actual product.

What's In the Box

Note: The included sound calibration microphone stand is convenient for Speaker Calibration. Using your own tripod or the supplied stand allows automatic configuration for optimal listening environment and high performance.

Important: External Antennas

Removable external antennas are required for Bluetooth and Wireless network connectivity. Ensure antennas are connected before using these features on the SR7015.

Connecting the external antennas for Bluetooth / Wireless connectivity

  1. Place the antenna evenly over the antenna terminal at the upper left or right corner of the rear panel.
  2. Turn the antenna clockwise until fully connected. Do not over tighten.
  3. Rotate the antenna upwards for the best possible reception.

Setup Process

There are four steps to the setup process:

  2. Connecting the receiver
  3. Following the On-Screen Setup Assistant
  4. Downloading the Mobile Apps

ARC (Audio Return Channel) and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) support: If your TV supports ARC, it can send audio back to the AV receiver when using the TV's built-in video sources. ARC requires HDMI CEC to be enabled on your TV. Refer to your TV's Owner's Manual for setup instructions. If your TV supports eARC, it can also send back high-bitrate audio formats like Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DTS:X. Refer to your TV's Owner's Manual for enabling the eARC function.

4) Turn on the TV
