Thank you for choosing a Marantz AV receiver. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up your AV receiver.

Note: When connecting to devices compatible with Deep Color, 4K, ARC, and eARC, use a "High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet". For 8K and 4K 120Hz video, use an "Ultra High Speed 48 Gbps HDMI cable". These are illustrative drawings and may not represent the actual product.

Note: The included sound calibration microphone stand is convenient for Speaker Calibration. Using your own tripod or the supplied stand allows automatic configuration for optimal listening environment and high performance.
Important: External Antennas
Removable external antennas are required for Bluetooth and Wireless network connectivity. Ensure antennas are connected before using these features on the SR7015.
Connecting the external antennas for Bluetooth / Wireless connectivity
- Place the antenna evenly over the antenna terminal at the upper left or right corner of the rear panel.
- Turn the antenna clockwise until fully connected. Do not over tighten.
- Rotate the antenna upwards for the best possible reception.

Setup Process
There are four steps to the setup process:
- Installing batteries in the remote control unit
- Connecting the receiver
- Following the On-Screen Setup Assistant
- Downloading the Mobile Apps
Step 1: Installing batteries in the remote control unit

Step 2: Connecting the receiver
1) Place the receiver near your TV and connect the power cord

2) Connect the receiver to your home network
Wired LAN
Connect an Ethernet cable (not included) between your receiver and your network router.

Wireless LAN
When connecting to wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), follow the instructions in "Connecting the external antennas for Bluetooth / Wireless connectivity" and connect the antennas.
3) Connect the receiver to your TV with an HDMI cable

ARC (Audio Return Channel) and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) support: If your TV supports ARC, it can send audio back to the AV receiver when using the TV's built-in video sources. ARC requires HDMI CEC to be enabled on your TV. Refer to your TV's Owner's Manual for setup instructions. If your TV supports eARC, it can also send back high-bitrate audio formats like Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DTS:X. Refer to your TV's Owner's Manual for enabling the eARC function.
4) Turn on the TV

5) Select the appropriate HDMI input on your TV

Step 6 & 7: Finalizing Setup
6) Turn on the receiver
Press the power button [power button] to turn on the receiver.

7) Verify the connection
Verify that you can see the "AV Receiver Setup Assistant" screen on your TV, prompting you to select a language (English, Français, Español).

If this screen is not displayed, please go back and retry the steps in the recommended sequence.
Step 3: Following the On-Screen Setup Assistant
Now that your TV is connected to the receiver, the Setup Assistant will guide you through connecting and configuring your speakers and components. Use the remote control and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 4: Downloading the Mobile Apps
Download the "HEOS" App and the "Marantz 2016 AVR Remote" App for the full home entertainment experience. The HEOS App is required for online music access through your AVR.

The HEOS App allows you to explore, browse, and play music from many online streaming services or your own music library.
