V380 Pro Camera Setup and User Guide
Getting Started
When unboxing the V380 Pro device, use the included AC adapter and Micro-USB cable to power on the camera. A separate SD card is required for video recordings; it is not included.
Initial Setup Steps
After powering on the camera, follow these steps to complete the setup:
- Tap the "+" icon to add a new device, then tap "Next".
- Wait for the camera voice prompt: "Access-Point established" or "Waiting for Wi-Fi smartlink configuration".
Connecting the Camera to Wi-Fi
The connection method depends on the camera's voice prompt:
Method A: AP Quick Configuration
Use if prompt is "Access-Point established":
For Android: Tap "Access-Point established". The device identifier (MV+ID) will be shown. Tap it. Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and tap "Confirm". The camera will connect to Wi-Fi. Upon hearing "WiFi connected", the device will appear in the device list. Set a password for the camera.
For iOS: Tap "Access-Point established". Go to your phone's settings, tap "Wi-Fi", and connect to "MV+ID". Wait for the Wi-Fi icon to appear in the status bar, then return to the app and tap "Next". Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and tap "Confirm". The camera will connect to Wi-Fi. Upon hearing "WiFi connected", the device will appear in the device list. Set a password for the camera.
Method B: AP Hotspot Configuration
Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to "MV+ID". Wait for the Wi-Fi icon in the status bar. Return to the app, pull down the device list; the device should appear. To enable remote viewing, tap "Settings" ➔ "Network" ➔ "Change to Wi-Fi station mode". Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and tap "Confirm". The camera will connect to Wi-Fi. Upon hearing "WiFi connected", the camera is ready.
Method C: Wi-Fi Smart Link Configuration
Use if prompt is "Waiting for Wi-Fi smartlink configuration": Tap "Waiting for Wi-Fi smartlink configuration". Enter your Wi-Fi password and optionally the camera ID, then tap "Next". Upon hearing "WiFi connected", the device will appear in the device list. Set a password for the camera.
Preview and Features
Tap the play button in the preview interface to start viewing the live stream.
Cloud Storage
When the camera detects motion, an alarm is triggered, and the video is uploaded to the cloud. This allows access to recordings even if the device or SD card is lost or stolen.
Activating Cloud Service
Tap "Activate" to enable the cloud service.
Purchasing a Cloud Package
- Tap the cloud icon.
- Tap "Buy a new package".
- Tap "Subscribe" to complete the order.
Deactivating Cloud Service
- Disable "Cloud Storage Service".
- Tap "Verify Code". A code will be sent to your registered phone or email.
Alarm Settings
To receive app notifications when the camera detects motion: Tap "Settings" ➔ "Alarm" and enable the feature.
Replay Recordings
In the preview interface, tap "Replay". Choose between SD card or cloud recordings and select a date to view specific recordings.
Image and Lamp Settings
Access image settings and lamp control settings from the preview interface.
Motion Tracking
When enabled, the camera automatically targets and tracks moving objects. Find this option in the preview interface: Tap "Preset track" ➔ "Enable Motion track".
