Safety Precautions
Special attention is required when using this test and measurement instrument, as improper usage can lead to electric shock and equipment damage.
- Use appropriate measurement category (CAT), voltage, and amperage rated probes, test leads, and adapters for the measurement.
- Do not use or store the device near explosive gas, vapor, or in environments with high temperature and humidity.
- When handling test probes and crocodile clips, keep fingers behind the physical guard.
- Examine test leads before use. Replace any leads with deteriorated insulation.
- Connect the common test lead before the live test lead, and remove the live test lead before the common test lead.
- Before measuring current, ensure the instrument's fuses are available and disconnect power to the circuit being tested.
- Remove batteries if the device is not used for an extended period or stored above 45°C to prevent battery leakage and damage.

Basic Operation
Battery Installation
To power the multimeter, open the rear cover and insert batteries, observing the correct polarity markings.
Voltage Measurement (AC/DC)
Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and the red test lead to the V terminal. Select the desired AC Voltage (V~) or DC Voltage (V=) range on the dial. Touch the probes to the circuit points to be measured.
Current Measurement (AC/DC)
Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and the red test lead to the mA terminal. Select the desired AC Current (A~) or DC Current (A-) range on the dial. Connect the multimeter in series with the circuit to measure current.
Resistance and Continuity Measurement
Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and the red test lead to the Ω terminal. Select the desired Resistance (Ω) range. Touch the probes to the component. For continuity testing, select the continuity range; a beep ? will sound if continuity is detected.
Logic Level Testing
Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and the red test lead to the LOGIC terminal. Select the LOGIC function on the dial. The multimeter will indicate low voltage levels (e.g., 0V, 1.5V) or high voltage levels (e.g., 3.5V, 5V).
