The ZHIYUN FIVERAY V60 LED Light Wand is a high-intensity, portable, handheld LED fill light offering adjustable brightness and color temperature. Its compact size belies its powerful performance, meeting fill light needs for various shooting scenarios including video recording, live interviews, and still object photography.

• This product is not waterproof. Avoid contact with any liquid. Never use in rain or humid environments.

Battery Safety Precautions:

• It is strictly prohibited to use batteries not provided by ZHIYUN. Contact ZHIYUN or designated agents for battery replacement. ZHIYUN is not responsible for accidents or malfunctions caused by non-official batteries.
• If the battery bulges, leaks, or shows other abnormalities, stop using it immediately and contact ZHIYUN customer service or designated agents.
• Do not completely discharge the battery and store it for extended periods to prevent damage to the battery cell.

• Disconnect the external power supply when not in use.

• Front View: Features the Light Shade.
• Side View: Includes Cooling Vent, Fans, Microphone, Trim, Color Temperature Adjustment Knob, Brightness Adjustment Knob, Display Screen, and Handle.
• Ports: Firmware Upgrade/Charging Port and DC Charging Port are located on the side.

How to Charge

The FIVERAY V60 features a high-capacity built-in lithium battery for extended runtime, with the battery level displayed on the screen. Two charging methods are available:

1. USB Type-C Charging: Connect a USB Type-C cable from a USB charger to the Type-C port of the FIVERAY V60. Plug the USB charger into an AC socket. It is recommended to use USB chargers supporting the PD protocol with a power output of 100W or higher. When charging while in use, the USB charger prioritizes powering the light wand, with any remaining power used to charge the battery (maximum charging power of 25W).
2. DC Power Adapter Charging: Connect the provided DC Power Adapter to the DC charging port and plug it into an AC socket.

It is recommended to fully charge the V60 before initial use, as low battery may impair performance.

USB chargers and USB cables supporting PD fast charging are not included in the package. The V60 standard and COMBO packages include a DC power adapter.

Installing Modifiers

Installing/Detaching Barn Doors

Installing:

1. Expand the barn doors to both sides. 2. Position the light wand (light shade side down) at the top of the barn door groove, ensuring the top of the light wand aligns with the top of the groove. 3. Press to engage the light wand securely in the barn door groove. 4. Adjust the position of the barn doors as needed for actual use.

Detaching:

1. Expand the barn doors to the indicated position. 2. Use thumbs to separate the upper part of the light wand from the groove. 3. While using other fingers, slide the light wand towards the outer side of the groove. 4. Use the same method to slide the lower part of the light wand out of the groove to remove the barn doors.

Installing/Detaching the Diffuser

Installing:

1. Install the barn doors onto the light wand and expand them to their vertical state. 2. Place the diffuser onto the connection of the barn doors and the groove. 3. Push the barn doors outward to secure the diffuser.

Detaching:

1. Push the barn doors inward until their spacing decreases. 2. Remove the diffuser from the barn doors.

Installing/Detaching the Grid

Installing:

1. Install the barn doors onto the light wand and expand them to their vertical state. 2. Loosen the straps and ensure both sides of the grid align with the barn doors. 3. Push the grid to engage it with the barn doors and secure the straps to the other side of the grid.

Detaching:

1. Loosen the straps. 2. Remove the grid from the barn doors.

How to Use ZHIYUN FIVERAY V60

Safety Notes:

• ⚠️ DO NOT stare at the LED chips while the device is operating.
• The IP rating of the outer case is IP20.
• ? During use, if the temperature rises, the fan will automatically activate for heat dissipation.
• ❗ When the temperature is too high, the high-temperature protection mechanism will activate to ensure safe use.

Buttons and Knobs

• Power Button: Single press + press and hold to turn the light on. Press and hold to turn the light off.
• MAX Button: Single press to turn MAX power mode on/off.
• Brightness Adjustment Knob: Turn to adjust brightness level. Press for quick adjustment. Press and hold to turn special effect mode on/off.
• Color Temperature Adjustment Knob: Turn to adjust color temperature value. In special effect mode, turn to switch among different effect types. Press for quick adjustment of color temperature value. Press and hold to turn music mode on/off.

Operation Instruction

1. Brightness/Color Temperature Setting

Turn on the ZHIYUN FIVERAY V60. Press the brightness/color temperature adjustment knob once for a quick set of the value. Turn the knob to finely adjust the value. Set the appropriate brightness/color temperature according to your actual scenarios.

2. MAX Mode Setting

The ZHIYUN FIVERAY V60 can achieve MAX mode using two power methods:

1. Connect a DC power adapter to the light wand's DC charging port and an AC power outlet.
2. Use a USB Type-C charging cable to connect a USB charger to the light wand's Type-C charging port, then plug the USB charger into an AC power outlet.

Once connected to power, turn on the light wand and press the MAX button once to activate MAX mode, which outputs maximum power. Press the brightness/color temperature adjustment knob once for quick setting or turn it to finely adjust the value according to your scenarios.

It is recommended to use a DC power adapter to power the light wand.

Please use a USB charger supporting the PD protocol with an output power of 100W or greater for MAX mode; otherwise, it cannot be enabled.

When MAX mode is activated, brightness defaults to 100% with a color temperature of 4200K.

MAX mode cannot be enabled when powered by the built-in battery. The display will prompt the conditions for enabling MAX mode: using a PD adapter (≥100W) or a DC power adapter (24V/5A).

3. Light Effect Mode

The ZHIYUN FIVERAY V60 offers light effect modes for creating special atmospheres such as SOS, TV, broken light bulb, candle, lightning, fire, etc. After turning on the light wand, press and hold the brightness adjustment knob to activate this mode. Turn the color temperature adjustment knob to switch among different effect types. Single-press the brightness adjustment knob for quick brightness setting, and turn it to finely adjust the brightness. Press and hold the brightness adjustment knob again to exit the mode.

4. Music Mode

Turn on the ZHIYUN FIVERAY V60. Press and hold the color temperature adjustment knob to activate music mode. Set brightness/color temperature as needed; the lighting will change in real-time according to the music rhythm. Press and hold the color temperature adjustment knob again to turn off music mode.

Firmware Upgrade

The V60 supports firmware upgrades using "Zhiyun Led Tools". Follow these steps:

1. Visit the official ZHIYUN website (www.zhiyun-tech.com), navigate to the V60 product page, click "Download", and find/download the Zhiyun Led Tools and firmware.
2. Unzip the firmware files with the ".ptz" extension.
3. Connect the V60's Type-C firmware upgrade port to a computer's USB port using a USB Type-C data cable.
4. Open "Zhiyun Led Tools", click "Open", then click "Firmware Upgrade". Under "Path", click "Browse" to select the downloaded ".ptz" firmware file, and click "Upgrade" at the bottom. The V60 will automatically turn off upon successful upgrade.
