Introduction

The ZHIYUN MOLUS G200 Video Light is a high-power, high-illumination portable fill light that supports brightness/color temperature adjustment. Despite its compact size, it offers excellent performance with a user-friendly separate control design. It features an industry-standard Bowens mount for broad accessory compatibility, meeting lighting needs for video recording, live interviews, still photography, and other shooting scenarios.

Getting to Know the ZHIYUN MOLUS G200

The MOLUS G200 consists of the main light unit and a controller.

Main Light Unit Components:

• Bowens Mount Lock Switch

• Umbrella Mount Arm

Power Supply

The product does not contain a battery. To ensure normal operation:

1. Connect the controller to the ZHIYUN MOLUS G200 using the controller cable.
2. Connect the controller to a power outlet using the AC power cable.

Ensure the aviation plug is inserted correctly. Do not force it if resistance is met to avoid damaging the aviation interface.

Mounting/Detaching the Reflector

The ZHIYUN MOLUS G200 is compatible with standard Bowens mount accessories. The reflector is used as an example.

Mounting:

1. Align the reflector mount with the MOLUS G200 mount and attach the reflector to the light body.
2. Press the reflector slightly into the mount and rotate it counter-clockwise until it locks securely.

Detaching:

1. Press and hold the lock switch on the Bowens mount.
2. Rotate the reflector clockwise.
3. Release the reflector from the light body.

Mounting the Light Stand

1. Align the end of the light stand mount with the 1/4" screw on the top of the light stand.
2. Attach the G200 to the light stand and tighten the light stand mount hook.
3. Loosen the light stand mount yoke hook to adjust the light body's angle.
4. Tighten the light stand mount yoke hook.

Note: Light stands are not included.

Mounting/Detaching the Umbrella

1. Insert the umbrella handle into the umbrella hole on the light stand mount.
2. Tighten the umbrella lock clockwise.
3. To detach, rotate the umbrella lock counter-clockwise and pull out the umbrella handle.

Note: Umbrellas are not included.

Operation and Safety Notes

• Do not look directly at the MOLUS G200 COB chip when it is lit.
• The MOLUS G200 has an IP20 casing protection level.
• The fan automatically activates to dissipate heat when the temperature rises.
• If the temperature becomes too high, the overheat protection mechanism will activate, causing the light to turn off automatically. It will restart once the temperature decreases. Avoid placing the light on flammable surfaces during this period.
• The temperature around the light stand mount can become high during prolonged use. Avoid touching the product or mount to prevent burns.

Button/Knob Description

• Power Switch: Left/right toggle to turn the device ON/OFF.
• Brightness Adjustment Knob:
  • Rotate clockwise to increase brightness.
  • Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.
  • Press once for quick brightness adjustment.
  • Press three times to reset Bluetooth.
• Color Temperature Adjustment Knob:
  • Rotate clockwise to increase color temperature.
  • Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease color temperature.
  • Press once for quick color temperature adjustment.
  • Press three times to display firmware version (press once to return to the main interface).
  • Press and hold to turn music mode ON/OFF.
• Brightness + Color Temperature Knobs (Simultaneous Press): Press and hold both knobs simultaneously to turn MAX mode ON/OFF.

Display Screen

The display shows the current mode, brightness, and color temperature.

Operating Instructions

1. Brightness/Color Temperature Adjustment

Turn on the MOLUS G200. Press the brightness/color temperature adjustment knob once for quick adjustment. Rotate the knob to fine-tune the brightness or color temperature as needed for your scenario.

2. MAX Mode

Turn on the MOLUS G200. Press and hold both the brightness and color temperature adjustment knobs simultaneously to enter MAX mode, which provides maximum output. Adjust brightness and color temperature as needed within MAX mode.

• Default settings in MAX mode are 100% brightness and 4300K color temperature.
• For temperatures above 30°C, the MOLUS G200 may automatically disable MAX mode and return to CCT mode if the temperature rises significantly to ensure safety.

3. Music Mode

Turn on the MOLUS G200 and press and hold the color temperature adjustment knob to activate music mode. Adjust color temperature and brightness as desired. The G200 will change its lighting effects in real-time based on the music rhythm. Press and hold the knob again to exit music mode.

Power-On Settings

• Normal Mode: Ensure the power switch is OFF before connecting AC power. Switch to ON to power on the light after connecting.
• Live Mode: Ensure the power switch is ON before connecting AC power. The light will automatically turn on upon power connection.

Firmware Update

Warranty Period

1. Customers are entitled to free replacement or repair service if quality defects are found within 15 days of product receipt.
