Thank you for purchasing the Peiko World Bt VoiceLanguage EARPHONE. Our voice language EARPHONE is a powerful translation device which can instantly translate what you say in real time and play it back to locals in their native language. They can then reply to you and what they say will instantly be translated back to your earphone. It is now easy to carry on a conversation in a language that you have never spoken.

Earphone Overview

The earphone features:

• Charging Port: For connecting the charging cable.
• Power Button: To turn the device on/off.

Charging Instructions

Input Voltage: DC 5V/1A. During charging, the LED Status Light will illuminate RED, indicating that the unit is charging. When charging is completed, the LED will turn OFF.

User Instructions

1. Download the App: Scan the QR code or download the app from your app store. Search for "byteengine EARPHONE" in the Google Store & iOS Store. (A QR code graphic is shown, indicating to scan for app download.)
2. Power On: Turn on the power button on your earphone. After powering on, the green light flashes, indicating that it is waiting for BT pairing.
3. Connect to App: Open the app, click on the home page, and select "peiko world". This will take you to your phone's BT settings or device list.
4. Bluetooth Pairing: Turn on your phone's Bluetooth, find and connect to the "peiko wolrd" device. Once the connection is successful, you will hear a chime and the BT indicator will turn off. (A smartphone screen showing successful Bluetooth pairing is depicted.)

6. Select Translation Mode: Click on the voice translation mode and, according to the app's instructions, select the translation language and target language for the earphone. (A smartphone screen showing the app's translation interface is depicted.)
7. Translate Your Speech: To translate your own speech, press the translate button on the earphone and wait 0.5 seconds before speaking. Speak clearly, loudly, and in a standard speech pattern to improve recognition accuracy. Release the button after completing each sentence; otherwise, incomplete recognition may occur. Keep each sentence under 15 seconds.
8. Translate Others' Speech: To translate someone else's speech, click the other microphone logo on the app to record their voice.
9. View History: Click "Translate Conversation History" in the translation screen to read the result again.
10. Volume Adjustment: During translation, the volume buttons may change to speech buttons. Adjust the earphone volume by changing the volume on your phone.

Additional Translation Features

• Photo Translation: Select the language you want to translate into, take a photo of the target, and the translation result will be displayed.
• Offline Translation: Download offline text and voice files through the app. Use it without a network; if a network is available, it will not use current network or data.
• Group Translation: This feature allows you to share and participate in translation conversations with more people.

1. Ensure your earphones are connected to the app, then click the group chat translation feature.
2. On the screen, click "Create Group Chat Translation", enter your nickname and native language. (In group chat mode, a target language is not needed; all received messages will be translated into your selected native language.)
3. Once your nickname and native language are set, you will enter the main group chat translation interface.
4. Use the share button to share the group chat with friends. Even if they haven't purchased Peiko earphones, they can join and participate. Earphone operation is the same as in voice translation mode: press the speak button, wait 0.5 seconds, then speak.
5. If your friend also has Peiko earphones, they can join by entering the group chat number in the "Join" section.

Common Issues & Troubleshooting

• Device Won't Power On:
  • Try charging it and check if the charging indicator light is red.
  • Turn the power button on and off for a few seconds to reset the earphone.
• App Cannot Connect to Earphone:
  • Ensure you are connecting correctly according to the instructions.
  • Make sure the earphone is not connected to another phone. If it is, disconnect it. If no other phones are connected, go to your phone's BT settings, unpair and delete the earphone's BT name, then reconnect.
  • Try restarting the app or your phone.
• No Translation Results Announced:
  • When the network signal is poor, translation may be sluggish. It is recommended to enable airplane mode and restart the network.
