IKEA's Commitment and Process
What will IKEA do to correct the problem?
IKEA will examine the product to determine if the problem is covered by the guarantee. If covered, IKEA, at its sole discretion, will either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. IKEA will cover the costs of parts and labor for repairs accessible without extra costs, provided the repairs are approved by IKEA or its authorized service partner. If an article is no longer sold, IKEA will provide a suitable replacement, identified in consultation with the customer.
Care Instructions
General Care:
- Tighten screws on BESTÅ furniture after two weeks of use and check them periodically to ensure they remain tight.
- For all surfaces (except glass): Wipe clean with a cloth dampened with a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Dry with a dry cloth.
- For glass surfaces: Wipe clean with a cloth moistened with water or glass cleaner. Rub dry with a clean cloth.
Special Care for Glass:
- Exercise caution with hardened glass. It may break suddenly if damaged along the edge or if surface scratches occur. However, it breaks into small pieces rather than sharp splinters.
Safety:
- For safety, all BESTÅ furniture must be firmly anchored to the wall. Different wall materials require different types of fixings. Use the most suitable fixing solution for your walls.
