1. Important Safety Instructions
Read the following warnings carefully before installing and using this product. Keep them for future reference.
CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE THE COVER TO PREVENT THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Have repairs performed by qualified service personnel.
Equipment with this symbol is a Class II or double-insulated electrical appliance. It is designed not to require a safety connection to the electrical earth.
Storage
Your device has been carefully inspected and packed for shipment. Check upon unpacking that all parts are present and keep the packaging away from children. We recommend keeping the packaging during the warranty period so that your device is perfectly protected in case of repair or warranty.
WEEE Directive
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household waste in the EU. Recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. For the return of your used device, use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where you purchased the product.

Safety Information
In extreme weather conditions (storm, lightning) and during long periods of inactivity (going on holiday), disconnect the product from the mains. The power plug is used to disconnect the monitor from the electricity network and must therefore remain easily accessible. If the monitor is not electrically disconnected from the mains, the device will continue to draw power in all situations, even if the product is in standby mode or switched off.
2. Warning!
This device is intended for use by persons (including children) who are capable of / have experience in operating such a device unsupervised, unless they are supervised or have received instructions on the use of the device from a person responsible for their safety.
- Do not place this product near or above electric heaters or radiators, or in places exposed to direct sunlight.
- Do not place heat-producing objects (such as candles, ashtrays, incense, flammable gases or explosive substances, etc.).
- Do not place water-filled containers on the monitor, as this may lead to fire or electric shock.
- Do not expose the product to oily substances or chemical agents, as this may lead to corrosion of the product's housing.
- Do not expose this product to rain or near water (e.g., bathtub, sink, countertop, washbasin, wet basement, swimming pool).
- If the product accidentally gets wet, does not operate normally, and especially if it emits an unusual sound or odor, immediately unplug the power cord and contact an authorized dealer or service center for further assistance.
- For cleaning the monitor, use a dry, soft cloth that does not contain flammable substances. Unplug the power cord or adapter from the outlet before cleaning the monitor.
- Do not overload outlets, extension cords, or integrated outlets, as this may lead to fire or electric shock.
- The power cord or adapter should be placed where it cannot be stepped on or crushed by objects above or next to it, and special attention should be paid to the wires at the plug, at the integrated sockets, and at the monitor's outlet.
- Before connecting the power cord to the power adapter or the monitor's power interface (depending on the product's style), check if your local power supply meets the input voltage requirements of the power adapter or the monitor. Do not touch the inside of this product to prevent electric shock. Only qualified technicians should open the cover of this product.
- The power cord plug must be easily accessible. Do not place the monitor, furniture, etc., on the power cord. A damaged power cord or plug can cause fire or electric shock. Grasp the power cord by the plug; do not pull the plug out of the outlet by pulling the cord. Never touch the power cord/plug with wet hands, as this can cause short circuits or electric shocks. Never tie a knot in the power cord and never tie it together with other cords. If it is damaged, it must be replaced; this should only be done by qualified personnel.
- NEVER place the monitor on cloths or other materials that may be between the monitor and supporting furniture.
- Do not place the monitor on the floor or on inclined surfaces.
- If you plan to leave the monitor unused for a long time or if you are not at home (especially if children, the elderly, or disabled persons are left alone), you must unplug the power cord or adapter from the outlet.
- Accumulated dust can cause sparks and heat from the power cord or adapter, or affect the insulation of the power cord or adapter, which can lead to electric shocks, leakage, or fire.
- After moving the monitor from a cold environment to a warm environment, let the monitor sit for a while before turning it on, so that any condensation inside can fully evaporate and dry.
- If you plan to install this product in dusty environments, at high or low temperatures, high humidity, in environments with chemicals, or in locations used 24 hours a day (such as airports or train stations, etc.), you must contact an authorized service center for further assistance. Otherwise, the monitor may be severely damaged.
- Children must not climb on this product.
- Do not install this product on an unstable surface, such as a wobbly shelf, an inclined floor, or a place subject to external vibrations.
- Securely attach the feet/stand to the product. If the stand is equipped with screws, tighten the screws firmly to prevent the monitor from tilting. Do not overtighten the screws.
- Keep plastic bags out of the reach of babies, children, and pets to prevent suffocation.
ALL CAUTION - NEVER let anyone, especially children, push or bump the screen, or push anything into holes, slots, or other openings in the housing.
USER ADVICE
Based on legislative decree no. 49 of March 14, 2014 "Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)" This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household waste, but should be disposed of separately from other waste. Therefore, the user must take the product with all essential components to recycling centers for electrical and electronic waste, or return it to the retailer before purchasing a new product of the same type, in a 1 to 1 ratio, or 1 to 0 for products with larger sides of 25 cm. Correct disposal of your old appliance helps prevent potential damage to the environment and public health and supports the recycling of materials. Illegal disposal of the product may lead to administrative sanctions for users based on Legislative Decree no. 49 of March 14, 2014.

4. Stand Installation
Refer to the Quick Installation Guide (QIG) for instructions on unpacking the monitor. Assemble the monitor on a flat surface and lay it on a cloth.

5. Carrying and Lifting the Monitor
Follow these instructions to safely transport the monitor and prevent scratches or damage, regardless of the monitor's shape and size.
- Before transporting the monitor, place it in its original box/packaging.
- Disconnect the power cord and other cables before handling the monitor.
- Hold the bottom and side of the monitor firmly. Do not hold the panel itself.
- Ensure the screen does not come into contact with sharp objects and is kept at a safe distance from other materials that could damage the screen.
- To move the monitor correctly, it must be upright and not on its sides.
6. Table Installation
Place the monitor upright on the table after assembling it. The monitor should be at least 100 mm away from walls to ensure adequate ventilation.

7. Adjusting the Angle

- Ensure you do not touch or press the screen area when adjusting the monitor's angle.
8. Wall Mounting
The monitor complies with specifications for wall mounting plates or other compatible devices.
The monitor must be installed with at least 100 mm clearance on each side and 100 mm distance from the wall to ensure adequate ventilation.
Screws, mounting plates, or other compatible devices must be VESA-certified and used according to VESA standards.

Wall screw compatibility: 22-24 inch M4, 28-70 inch M6, 75 inch M8.

9. Cable Connection
Depending on the product model, the configuration information on the back of the monitor may differ. Read the following information before connecting the product.
- Before connecting the product, check the two connectors on the supplied signal cable(s) and the shape and position of the connectors on the product and external devices.
- Before connecting the product, check that the power cord is not bent or damaged.
- Connect the power cord to the product and plug the plug into the outlet. If you notice the product is operating abnormally, immediately unplug the power cord and contact your supplier.
- After connecting the product, read the manual to familiarize yourself with the functions, precautions, and other information needed to use the product correctly.

10. Panel Operation
The monitor has control buttons on the panel. The functions are typically:
- M: Menu/Select
- ▼ (Down/Volume): Navigate down / Decrease volume
- ▲ (Up/Brightness+): Navigate up / Increase brightness
- E: Exit / Input Menu
- Power Button: Standby/Power Off/On
12. Eco-Friendly Tips for the Thomson Monitor
Follow these simple eco-friendly practices to reduce energy consumption and your ecological footprint while using your Thomson monitor:
- Activate Energy Saving Mode: Enable the monitor's Eco mode to reduce energy consumption when the monitor is not in use. This setting helps dim the brightness and save energy during inactive periods.
- Adjust Brightness and Contrast: Lower the brightness and contrast settings to a comfortable level. This not only reduces energy consumption but also extends the monitor's lifespan.
- Turn Off When Not in Use: Always turn off the monitor when you are no longer using it, especially during extended periods of inactivity. You can also set a shorter sleep mode or an automatic shutdown timer.
- Unplug When Not in Use: Unplug the power cord from the outlet when the monitor is not used for a long time, such as during holidays or long absences. This prevents phantom power draw.
- Correct Disposal: Recycle your monitor at the end of its service life responsibly by taking it to a designated collection point for electronic waste, in accordance with the WEEE directive. This ensures proper disposal and supports the sustainable reuse of materials.
13. Other
Plug and Play Functions:
This monitor can be installed on any compatible Plug and Play system. The interaction between the monitor and the computer system ensures optimal operating conditions and monitor settings. In most cases, the monitor will install automatically unless the user chooses a different setting.
Acceptable Dead Pixels:
The screen of this product is manufactured using an advanced semiconductor process with an accuracy of more than 1 ppm (parts per million). However, some pixels may appear too bright or too dark when displaying red, green, blue, or white. Feel free to use it, as the quality is sufficient.
This device is Class B IT equipment.
If the user's viewing angle changes, LED light may be visible on the edge of the product's frame, but this phenomenon is not harmful to the human body and does not affect the product's characteristics and performance.
Limit listening time to high volumes to prevent hearing damage.
14. Troubleshooting
Black Screen Appears / Cannot Power On:
- Check if the power adapter is correctly connected.
- Check if the power adapter is normally connected to the 100-240V outlet.
- Check if the signal detection cable information is displayed on the screen; check the cable connection between the connected system and this monitor.
- Different Inputs:
- a) Check if the DP input is selected as the source when connecting the DP cable after the connected system is powered on. Disconnect the DP cable and reconnect it while using the connected system. The screen may not display an image because some graphics cards cannot output a signal. In this case, restart your connected system after connecting the DP cable and/or update your graphics card drivers.
- b) Check if the HDMI input is selected as the source when connecting the HDMI cable after your connected system is powered on. Disconnect the HDMI cable and reconnect it while using the connected system. It is possible that the screen does not display an image because some graphics cards cannot output a signal. In this case, restart your connected system after connecting the HDMI cable and/or update your graphics card drivers.
