Flight Warnings

WARNING: DO NOT FLY YOUR ASC-2680 IN FOUL WEATHER!

Ensure the remote control has 4 "AAA" batteries and the ASC-2680 rechargeable battery is fully charged. Fly in a large, open space (at least 400 feet radius) on a clear, level surface. For beginners, avoid windy conditions.

Syncing Your ASC-2680

To sync the drone and controller:

  1. Ensure the controller is off and the drone battery is removed.
  2. Place the drone on a flat, level surface. Press and hold the drone's power button until its LED lights flash rapidly (Diagram G).
  3. Turn on the remote control. The controller's top red LED will flash.
  4. Push the throttle stick all the way up, then pull it all the way down. You should hear a beep.
  5. If the drone and controller lights become solid, syncing is successful. If not, repeat steps 1-4.

SPECIAL NOTE:

  • Minimize the time between powering on the drone and controller to avoid sync timeouts.
  • Syncing in shade can make LED indicators easier to see.
  • The remote will beep if the drone is too far away; fly it closer.
  • If the signal is lost, the drone will descend and land autonomously. Blue LED lights will flash until the battery is depleted.
  • A rapid sequence of five beeps indicates the drone has exceeded 50 feet altitude, warning of potential loss of control in high winds. Avoid flying above 50-60 feet.

Diagram G: Demonstrates moving the throttle stick up and down to sync the drone and controller, with a note about LED light status changes.

Getting Ready to Fly

Once synced, familiarize yourself with starting/stopping rotors, auto-land, and control functions. Practice in a large, open area with minimal wind. Do not attempt high-altitude flights until experienced.
