Setup and Installation
Remote Control Battery Installation
1. Unscrew and remove the battery cover from the back of the controller.
2. Install 4 AAA alkaline batteries into the controller. Replace the battery cover and secure it.
3. Turn over the controller front side up and press the power button. If you hear two beeps and the power indicator light turns on, you have installed your batteries correctly.
Charging the ASC-2400 Li-Poly Battery
1. Insert the USB charger into the battery charging socket.
2. Connect the USB end of the cable to your computer's USB port or a USB wall charger.
3. A red LED indicator light will illuminate while charging and then turn off when charging is complete.
4. Average charging time is approximately 130-150 minutes (via 5.0V-2A USB wall charger). A fully charged ASC-2400 can fly for 15-18 minutes depending on environment and user input.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS REMEMBER TO UNPLUG YOUR CHARGING CORD WHEN NOT IN USE!
Installing the ASC-2400 Battery
Carefully push the fully charged battery into the ASC-2400 battery compartment all the way in until it stops and is flush with the back of the drone. Note: The battery only fits one way into the battery compartment. Never force it.
Expanding and Folding Your ASC-2400 Arms
Before flying your ASC-2400, you need to expand the foldable arms out.
1. Make sure the drone power is turned off.
2. Holding the folded ASC-2400 drone, proceed to open the arms by starting with the Front Arms (Upper Arms) and then Rear Arms (Lower Arms).
3. Make sure the arms are fully extended and locked into place. You will feel some additional pressure indicating the arm is properly locked.
4. When folding in the arms, simply reverse steps 1-3.
NOTE: Never use hard force when opening and closing the ASC-2400 Arms.

Flight Preparation and Syncing
Flight Preparation
WARNING: DO NOT FLY YOUR ASC-2400 IN FOUL WEATHER!
Verify that there are 4 "AAA" batteries inside the remote control unit and the ASC-2400 Li-poly battery has been fully charged.
Make sure to be in a large open space, preferably a field or park with an open radius of at least 400 feet.
Ensure the drone is started on a clean, flat, level surface before take-off.
IMPORTANT: Until you have experience, it is not advised to fly in any wind. Pick a day with zero or extremely light wind conditions when learning.
Syncing Your ASC-2400
Important! When syncing, ensure the drone is on a flat level surface and digital trim settings are centered.
1. Before starting, ensure the controller power is off and the ASC-2400 battery is removed.
2. Insert the battery into the ASC-2400, place it on a flat level surface, and press and hold the power button for a few seconds. The drone's red LED lights should flash rapidly, then slowly.
3. Quickly turn ON the remote. The controller's top red LED light will flash.
4. Push the throttle stick all the way up, then pull it all the way down. You should hear a high-pitched beep both ways. If the drone and controller indicator lights stop flashing and stay solid, syncing is successful.
If syncing fails, repeat steps 1-4.
TIP 1: Minimize the time between turning the drone on and the controller on to avoid timing out.
TIP 2: Syncing indoors or in shade makes LED indicators easier to see.
Flying the Drone
Now You Are Ready to Fly!
Once synced, familiarize yourself with starting/stopping rotors, auto-land, and controls. Practice in a large open field with light wind.
Recognizing the Front & Rear of the ASC-2400
The front of the drone is the side with the camera. The rear is the side with a red light.
Starting & Stopping the Rotors
You can start and stop rotors manually or automatically.
Auto Start/Auto Land: Press the auto START/LAND button on the controller to take off or land automatically. You can still control direction during auto-landing.
Manual Start/Stop:
- To Start: Move both control sticks simultaneously down to the inside or outside corners, hold until rotors spin, then release to neutral and push throttle up to take off.
- To Stop: Land the drone, and rotors stop automatically within ten seconds. Alternatively, move both control sticks simultaneously down and to the inside or outside bottom corners.
- EMERGENCY STOP: Press the SPEED button and STUNT button simultaneously.
Speed Select Button
The ASC-2400 has 3 speed settings: 1 (SLOW), 2 (MEDIUM), and 3 (HIGH). The default is SLOW. Press the speed setting button to cycle through speeds, indicated by beeps. Settings can be adjusted before or during flight.
Flight Control Inputs
Use the left throttle stick for ascent, descent, and rotation (left/right). Use the right direction control stick for forward/backward movement and banking (left/right).
Ascend/Descend: Move left throttle stick up/down.
Rotate Left/Right: Move left throttle stick left/right.
Move Forward/Backward: Move right direction control stick forward/backward.
Bank Left/Right: Move right direction control stick left/right.
Flight Practice
Practice simple maneuvers like vertical takeoffs, landings, and turns. Progress to square and cross patterns for advanced control.
Advanced Operations
Adjusting the Trim
The ASC-2400 is pre-trimmed, but adjustments may be needed after crashes.
Use the trim buttons to counteract drifting:
- Forward/Backward Trim: Counter forward/backward drift.
- Bank Right/Left Trim: Counter left/right drift.
- Spinning/Rotating Trim: Counter unwanted rotation.
A short beep indicates one trim position movement. A long beep indicates the center trim position. No beeps mean maximum trim is reached.
If the drone remains unstable, re-sync and recalibrate.
Calibrating the ASC-2400
Recalibration may be needed if the drone drifts or cannot hold its center position after shocks.
1. Place the ASC-2400 on a very flat level surface.
2. Ensure the drone is on and the controller is synced. Do not start the blades.
3. Move both throttle and control sticks down and to the bottom right corner. The drone's lights should flash and then stop, indicating successful calibration.
Troubleshooting Calibration: If lights don't flash, remove the drone battery, turn off the controller, and restart. Re-sync the drone by moving the left throttle stick up and down until you hear a beep.
Performing 360° Stunt Rolls
1. Hover the ASC-2400 at least 6 feet clear above and below. Set speed to mode 2 or 3 (not possible in mode 1).
2. Press the 360 stunt button on the controller to enter stunt roll mode (indicated by rapid beeping).
3. Use the right control stick: push directly right for a right-side roll, or directly left for a left-side roll.
NOTE: To exit stunt mode without flipping, press the stunt button again.
Camera and App Integration
Installing Your Phone Holder
To use the drone's camera, install the phone holder by clicking the top teeth into the controller's top holes, then securing the bottom. To remove, pull from the bottom first.
