Safe to Use

The BISON 2 and BISON 2 Pro offer increased durability but are not mechanically indestructible.

The display is made of tempered glass for enhanced scratch resistance. However, it can crack if dropped on a hard surface or sharp object. Cracked displays due to mechanical damage or improper use are not covered by warranty.

The devices are IP68 and IP69K certified (ISO 20653:2013). The IP68 rating does not guarantee 100% water resistance in all conditions (up to 1.5m depth for 30 minutes; IP68 resistance does not apply to salt water).

After contact with water or liquid, do not charge the phone. Dry the connector with a reasonably warm air current (up to 40°C).

Warranty does not cover intentional damage to the phone.

Warning: The microphone is located on the bottom of the phone. If covered (e.g., by hand), the other party may not hear you or hear you poorly.

The Bison 2/Bison 2 Pro model features a pre-installed infrared heat sensor and Thermometer app.

Installing NANO SIM Cards

Switch off your phone before installing cards.

  1. Carefully pull out the SIM card drawer from the side of the phone. Insert cards until they fit, then slide the drawer back into the phone.
  2. Ensure covers are closed properly.
  3. The phone supports 2x NANO SIM cards, or 1x NANO SIM and 1x microSD card.

Charging the Battery

Before first use, charge the battery to 100%.

  1. Connect the adapter to the charger connector (USB-C can connect from both sides; do not force).
  2. Plug the charger into an electrical outlet.
  3. Once fully charged, disconnect the phone from the charger.

Switching Your Phone On/Off / Sleep Mode

Ensure a SIM card is inserted and the battery is fully charged.

  1. Press the Power button (right side) to turn on.
  2. Press and hold the Power button to turn off.
  3. Briefly press the Power button to put the phone to sleep.

Infrared Heat Sensor

The phone has an infrared temperature sensor on the back for non-contact measurement of human body or solid object temperatures (35-42°C for body, 0-60°C for objects). Measured values are informative and not a substitute for medical devices.

  1. Start the "Thermometer" application.
  2. Select the measurement mode and point the sensor towards the measured object from a distance of 1-3 cm.
  3. Press the "Measure" button and hold the device steady until measurement is finished, announced by the result and vibration.
