Product Description
Husqvarna 436LiB, 536LiB, 530iBX are blower models with an electrical motor. Husqvarna maintains a policy of continuous product development and reserves the right to modify product design and appearance without prior notice.
Intended Use
This product is designed for blowing leaves and other debris from lawns, pathways, asphalt roads, and similar areas. It is intended for household use.

Check Before Starting
- Inspect the working area for loose objects (stones, glass, nails, wire, string) that could be thrown.
- Always remove the battery to prevent accidental starting. Disconnect the battery before maintenance.
- Before and after any impact, check for wear or damage and repair as necessary.
- Use only original spare parts.
- Ensure no people or animals come closer than 15 meters while working. Maintain a 15-meter safety distance between operators.
- Perform an overall inspection of the machine before use (see maintenance schedule).
- Comply with national or local regulations.
Personal Safety
- Stay alert, use common sense, and do not operate when tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
- Keep bystanders away.
- This appliance is not for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless supervised. Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Never allow untrained persons or children to use or service the machine. Local laws may regulate user age.

Power Tool Use and Care
- Never use a modified machine or operate near explosive/flammable materials.
- Never use a faulty machine. Perform safety checks and maintenance as described. Some tasks require trained specialists.
- Use only original spare parts.
- Keep ventilation openings clear of debris.
- Ensure all covers, guards, and handles are fitted before starting.
- Use only in daylight or well-lit conditions.
- Never use in bad weather (fog, rain, strong winds, intense cold, lightning risk). Extremely hot weather may cause overheating. Operation in bad weather is tiring and can lead to dangerous conditions (e.g., slippery surfaces).
- If the machine vibrates abnormally, stop it and remove the battery.
- Walk, never run, while operating.
General Safety Instructions

- Never modify the product's design without manufacturer permission. Never use a modified product or unauthorized accessories, as this can cause serious injury or death and may void the warranty.
- This product produces an electromagnetic field that may interfere with medical implants. Consult a physician and implant manufacturer if you have medical implants.
Safety Instructions for Operation
WARNING: Read the following warning instructions.
- Seek expert advice if uncertain about any situation. Avoid tasks beyond your capability.
- Never use the product in bad weather (fog, rain, strong winds, intense cold).
- Do not allow children to use or be near the product. It is easy to start and could cause serious injury if not supervised. Disconnect the battery when not under close supervision.
- Ensure no people or animals come closer than 15 meters (50 ft.). Maintain a 15-meter safety distance between operators. Stop immediately if anyone approaches. Never swing the product around without checking behind you.
- Ensure safe movement and footing. Check for obstacles (roots, rocks, ditches) and take care on sloping ground.
- Maintain good balance and firm footing; do not overreach.
- Listen for warning signals or shouts when wearing hearing protection. Remove hearing protection as soon as the product stops.
- Show consideration for others by avoiding use at unsuitable times (late evening, early morning). Follow local regulations.
- Use the product with the lowest possible airflow. Full airflow is seldom necessary. Lower airflow reduces noise and dust and improves control.
- Use a rake or brush to remove stuck debris.
- Hold the blower opening close to the ground.
- Observe surroundings and direct the product away from people, animals, play areas, cars, etc.
- Minimize blowing time by lightly wetting dusty areas or using spray equipment.
- Be aware of wind direction; work with the wind.
- Stop the product and remove the battery if it vibrates abnormally.
- Moving large piles is time-consuming and noisy.
- Clean up afterwards, ensuring no debris is blown into gardens.
- Do not run with the product.
- Powerful air currents can move objects at high speed, causing them to bounce back and cause serious eye injuries.
- Do not direct airflow towards people or animals.
- Stop the motor before assembling or dismantling parts.
- Keep body parts away from hot surfaces.
- Never put the product down when activated unless it is in clear sight.
- The blower must not be used on a ladder or scaffolding.
- Ensure you can call for help in case of an accident.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
WARNING: Read the following warning instructions.
- Always use approved PPE. PPE decreases injury severity but cannot fully prevent injury. Consult your dealer for selection.
- Long-term noise exposure can cause hearing damage. Battery-powered products are relatively quiet, but noise level combined with long usage can be harmful. Hearing protectors are recommended for extended use. Regular users should have hearing checked.
- Hearing Protector Warning: ? Hearing protectors limit the ability to hear sounds and warning signals.
- Use approved eye protection (?). If using a visor, also use approved protective goggles. Goggles must comply with ANSI Z87.1 (USA) or EN 166 (EU).
- Wear strong fabric clothing: long pants and long sleeves. Avoid loose clothing that can catch on branches. Do not wear jewelry, short pants, sandals, or go barefoot. Tie hair up safely.
- Keep first aid equipment (⛑️) close at hand.
- A breathing mask (?) should be used when there is a risk of dust.

- Watch out for thrown objects (stones, rubbish) that can cause blindness or serious injury.
- Use a residual-current device (RCI) for increased security against electrical faults.
- This product has low vibration. Overexposure to vibration can lead to circulatory or nerve damage. Consult a doctor if symptoms (numbness, tingling, pain, etc.) appear, especially in fingers, hands, or wrists.
- Use the product only for its intended purpose.
- Always exercise care and common sense. Avoid situations beyond your capability. Consult an expert if uncertain.
Assembly
To Assemble the Tube on the Product
- Place the blower nozzle over the tubular end of the product.
- Push the blower nozzle in fully and turn it to lock it to the product.
To Adjust the Harness
- Thread the hip pad straps through the fastenings in the harness for the backpack battery.
- Adjust the harness to optimize the work position.
Operation
Introduction
WARNING: Read and understand the safety chapter before use.
To Do a Function Check Before You Use the Product
- Check the air inlet for dirt and cracks. Clean off grass and leaves with a brush.
- Ensure the product works correctly.
- Check that all nuts and screws are tight.
To Connect the Battery Charger
- Connect the battery charger to the voltage and frequency specified on the rating plate.
- Plug into a grounded socket outlet. The charger's LED will flash green once.
- Insert the battery into the battery charger.
- Ensure the green charging light on the charger illuminates, indicating correct connection.
Note: The battery will not charge if its temperature is above 50 °C (122 °F). The charger will cool the battery if necessary.
Backpack Battery (530iBX)
The backpack battery capacity is shown via digits and LED lamps on the battery itself. Refer to the backpack battery operator's manual for charging and maintenance details.
To Charge the Battery
Note: Charge the battery fully the first time it is used, as new batteries are only 30% charged.
- Ensure the battery is dry.
After charging:
- When all battery LEDs are lit, the battery is fully charged.
- To disconnect the charger, pull the plug from the socket, not the cord.
- Remove the battery from the charger.

To Connect the Battery to the Product
WARNING: Only use original Husqvarna batteries.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Slide the battery into the product's battery holder. It must slide easily; if not, it is not installed correctly.
- Press the lower part of the battery and push it in fully until it clicks into place. Ensure latches snap correctly.
To Start the Product
- Press and hold the start button until the green LED light comes on.
- Use the power trigger to control the speed.
Starting the Backpack Battery (530iBX):
There is a startup time of approximately 4 seconds (software booting) when the backpack battery starts. During this time, fans may be heard, and a green LED on the battery blinks. The product is ready to start when the green LED is lit.
- Start the backpack battery. Wait until the green LED is lit before proceeding.
- Press and hold the start button until the green LED light comes on.
- Use the power trigger to control the speed.
To Stop the Product
- Release the power trigger.
- Press and hold the stop button until the green LED light turns off.
- Remove the battery by pressing the two release buttons and pulling it out.
To Stop Product and the Backpack Battery
- Release the power trigger.
- Press and hold the stop button until the green LED light turns off.
To Connect the Backpack Battery to the Product
- Connect the adapter cable from the product to the backpack battery.
- Fasten the battery cable in the attachments on the harness.
- When using the backpack battery, carry it on your back.
Note: If the backpack battery is not used for over 30 minutes, it turns off automatically. To restart, press the start button on the backpack battery.
To Set the Optimal Airflow for Your Work
- Press the power trigger to choose the desired airflow.
- Press the cruise control button to set the chosen airflow; the LED will illuminate.
- Continue working without needing to press the power trigger.
- Press the cruise control button again to deactivate the function.
To Temporarily Increase the Airflow
- Start the product (see "To Start the Product" on page 10).
- Press and hold the boost button to achieve maximum airflow; the LED will illuminate.
Note:
- 536LiB, 530iBX have unlimited boost time.
- 436LiB has a limited boost time of 30 seconds. Release and press the boost button again to reset the timer.
Release the boost button to return to normal airflow.

To Do a Check of the Air Intake
- Ensure the air intake is not blocked on any side of the product.
- Stop the product and remove leaves or unwanted material if necessary.
CAUTION: A blocked air intake decreases blowing capacity and increases motor temperature, potentially leading to motor failure due to overheating.
To Examine the Battery and the Battery Charger
- Examine the battery for damages, such as cracks.
- Examine the battery charger for damages, such as cracks.
- Ensure the battery charger connection wire is intact and free of cracks.
To Clean the Product, the Battery and the Battery Charger
- Clean the product with a dry cloth after use.
- Clean the battery and battery charger with a dry cloth. Keep battery guide tracks clean.
- Ensure battery and charger terminals are clean before connecting the battery to the charger or product.

Transportation, Storage, and Disposal
Transportation and Storage
- The supplied Li-ion batteries comply with Dangerous Goods Legislation. Obey special requirements for commercial transport, including packaging and labeling.
- Consult a person trained in dangerous materials before shipping the product. Obey all national regulations.
- Use tape on open battery contacts when packaging. Pack tightly to prevent movement.
- Remove the battery for storage or transportation.
- Store the battery and charger in a dry space, free from moisture and frost.
- Do not store the battery where static electricity can occur or in a metal box.
- Store batteries between 5 °C (41 °F) and 25 °C (77 °F), away from direct sunlight.
- Store the battery charger between 5 °C (41 °F) and 45 °C (113 °F), away from direct sunlight.
- Charge batteries to 30%-50% before long-term storage.
- Store the battery charger in a closed, dry space.
- Keep the battery away from the charger during storage. Keep equipment locked away from children and unauthorized persons.
- Clean and service the product fully before long-term storage.
- Use the transportation guard to prevent damage during transport and storage.
- Attach the product safely during transportation.
Disposal of the Battery, Battery Charger, and Product
