This product is designed for blowing leaves and other debris from lawns, pathways, asphalt roads, and similar surfaces for household use.

Check Before Starting

  • Inspect the working area and remove loose objects (stones, glass, nails, wire, string) that could be thrown.
  • Always remove the battery to prevent accidental starting. Disconnect the battery before any maintenance.
  • After any impact, check the machine for wear or damage and repair as necessary.
  • Use only original spare parts.
  • Ensure no people or animals come closer than 15 meters while working. Maintain at least 15 meters distance if multiple operators are present.
  • Perform an overall inspection of the machine before use.
  • Comply with national or local regulations regarding use.

Personal Safety

  • Stay alert, use common sense, and do not operate if tired, under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
  • Keep bystanders away.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  • Never allow untrained persons or children to use or service the machine. Local laws may regulate user age.
  • Keep unauthorized persons at a distance (outside the 15 m / 50 ft safety zone). Stop the machine immediately if anyone approaches.
  • Store the equipment in a lockable area out of reach of children and unauthorized persons.
  • Dress properly: avoid loose clothing, jewelry, or long hair that can get caught in moving parts.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Always remove the battery when passing the machine to another person.
  • The operator is responsible for preventing accidents or hazards to people or property.

Power Tool Use and Care

  • Never use a modified machine or use it near explosive/flammable materials.
  • Never use a faulty machine. Perform safety checks and maintenance as described in this manual. Some maintenance requires trained specialists.
  • Only use original spare parts.
  • Ensure ventilation openings are clear of debris.
  • All covers, guards, and handles must be fitted before starting.
  • Use the machine only in daylight or well-lit conditions.
  • Never use the machine in bad weather (fog, rain, damp, wet, strong winds, intense cold, lightning risk). Extremely hot weather may cause overheating. Operation in bad weather is tiring and can lead to dangerous conditions.
  • If the machine vibrates abnormally, stop it and remove the battery.
  • Walk, do not run, while operating.

General Safety Instructions

  • WARNING: Read all warning instructions before use. Incorrect or careless use can result in serious or fatal injury. Understand this manual.
  • Do not modify the product's design without manufacturer permission. Never use a modified product or non-original accessories, as this can cause serious injury or death and may void the warranty.
  • The product produces an electromagnetic field. Persons with active or passive medical implants should consult their physician and the implant manufacturer before operating.
  • Remove the battery from the product during charging.

Safety Instructions for Operation

  • WARNING: Read all warning instructions before use.
  • If uncertain about how to proceed, ask an expert or contact your dealer/service workshop. Avoid usage beyond your capability.
  • Ensure you can move and stand safely. Check the area for obstacles. Take care on sloping ground.
  • Maintain good balance and a firm foothold. Do not overreach.
  • Listen for warning signals or shouts when wearing hearing protection. Remove hearing protection as soon as the product stops.
  • Do not operate near open windows.
  • Be considerate of surroundings; avoid using at unsuitable times (late evening/early morning). Follow local regulations.
  • Use the lowest possible airflow. Full airflow is seldom necessary. Lower airflow reduces noise and dust and improves control.
  • In dusty conditions, slightly dampen the surface.
  • Use a rake or brush to release stuck debris.
  • Hold the blower nozzle close to the ground.
  • Observe surroundings and direct the product away from people, animals, play areas, and cars.
  • Minimize blowing time by lightly wetting dusty areas or using spray equipment.
  • Be aware of wind direction; work with the wind to make work easier.
  • Stop the product and remove the battery if it vibrates abnormally.
  • Using the blower for large piles is time-consuming and noisy.
  • Clean up afterwards, ensuring no debris is blown into neighboring gardens.
  • Do not run with the product.
  • Powerful air currents can move objects at high speed, causing serious eye injuries.
  • Do not direct airflow towards people or animals.
  • Stop the motor before assembling or dismantling parts.
  • Keep body parts away from hot surfaces.
  • Never put the product down when activated unless it is in clear sight.

  • Do not use the product unless you can call for help in case of an accident.
  • Watch out for thrown objects (stones, rubbish) which can cause blindness or serious injury.
  • Use a residual-current device (RCI) for increased security when charging the product.
  • This product has low vibration. Overexposure to vibration can lead to circulatory or nerve damage. Contact a doctor if experiencing symptoms. Symptoms include numbness, loss of feeling, tingling, pain, loss of strength, changes in skin color or condition in fingers, hands, or wrists.
  • Only use the product for its intended purpose.
  • Always exercise care and common sense. Consult an expert if uncertain about operating procedures after reading instructions.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • WARNING: Read all warning instructions before use.
  • Always use approved PPE. PPE cannot fully prevent injury but can decrease its severity. Consult your dealer for assistance in selecting the right equipment.
  • Long-term noise exposure can cause hearing damage. While battery-powered products are generally quiet, prolonged use can still be harmful. Hearing protectors are recommended for extended use. Regular users should have their hearing checked. Note that hearing protectors limit the ability to hear sounds and warning signals.
  • Use approved eye protection. If using a visor, also use approved protective goggles compliant with ANSI Z87.1 (USA) or EN 166 (EU).
  • Use clothing made of strong fabric: heavy, long pants and long sleeves. Avoid loose clothing, jewelry, short pants, sandals, or bare feet. Tie hair up safely above shoulder level. (Diagram Description: Images of safety glasses and ear defenders.)

  • A breathing mask should be used when there is a risk of dust.

Husqvarna guarantees the availability of professional repairs and servicing. If your retailer is not a servicing dealer, ask for the address of your nearest service agent.

Assembly

To Assemble the Tube on the Product

  1. Put the blower nozzle over the tubular end of the product.
  2. Push the blower nozzle in fully and turn it to lock it to the product. (Diagram Description: Shows the blower nozzle being slid onto the tube and then rotated to lock.)

Operation

To Charge the Battery

Note: Charge the battery fully for the first use; new batteries are only 30% charged.

  1. Connect the battery to the battery charger. (Diagram Description: Shows a battery being connected to a charger.)
  2. Ensure the green charging light on the battery charger illuminates, indicating a correct connection.
  3. When all LEDs on the battery illuminate, it is fully charged. (Diagram Description: Shows a battery with three indicator lights labeled 3, 2, 1, all illuminated.)
  4. To disconnect the charger from the mains socket, pull the plug, not the cable.
  5. Disconnect the battery from the battery charger.

To Connect the Battery to the Product

WARNING: Only use Husqvarna original batteries in the product.

  1. Ensure the battery is fully charged.
  2. Slide the battery into the battery holder of the product. It should slide easily; if not, it is not installed correctly. (Diagram Description: Shows a battery being slid into the product's battery compartment.)
  3. Press the lower part of the battery and push it in as far as it will go until it locks with an audible click.
  4. Ensure the latches snap into place correctly. (Diagram Description: Shows the battery fully inserted and latched.)

To Start the Product

  1. Push and hold the start button until the green LED light comes on. (Diagram Description: Shows the keypad with the start/stop button (B) being pressed.)
  2. Use the power trigger to operate the product.

To Set the Optimal Airflow for Your Work

  • Push the mode control button to set the airflow. There are 3 airflow steps, indicated by the LED.

To Stop the Product

  1. Release the power trigger.
  2. Push and hold the stop button until the green LED light turns off.
  3. Remove the battery from the product by pushing the two release buttons and pulling the battery out. (Diagram Description: Shows the battery release buttons being pressed and the battery being removed.)

Automatic Shutdown Function

The product has an automatic shutdown feature that stops it if not used for 30 minutes.

To Do a Check of the Air Intake

  1. Ensure the air intake on the sides of the product is not blocked. (Diagram Description: Shows the air intake area on the side of the blower.)
  2. Stop the product and remove leaves or unwanted material if necessary.

CAUTION: A blocked air intake decreases blow capacity and increases motor temperature, potentially leading to motor failure.

To Examine the Battery and the Battery Charger

  1. Examine the battery for damages, such as cracks.
  2. Examine the battery charger for damages, such as cracks.
  3. Ensure the battery charger's connection cord is not damaged and has no cracks.

To Clean the Product, the Battery, and the Battery Charger

  1. Clean the product with a dry cloth after use.
  2. Clean the battery and battery charger with a dry cloth. Keep battery guide tracks clean.
  3. Ensure terminals on the battery and charger are clean before connecting.

Transportation, Storage, and Disposal

Transportation and Storage

  • The supplied Li-ion batteries comply with Dangerous Goods Legislation. Obey special requirements for commercial transportation.
  • Consult a person trained in dangerous materials before shipping. Obey all applicable national regulations.
  • Use tape on open battery contacts when packaging. Pack the battery tightly to prevent movement.
  • Remove the battery for storage or transportation.
  • Store the battery and charger in a dry space, free from moisture and frost.
  • Do not store the battery where static electricity can occur or in a metal box.
  • Store the battery between 5°C/41°F and 25°C/77°F, away from direct sunlight.
  • Store the battery charger between 5°C/41°F and 45°C/113°F, away from direct sunlight.
  • Use the battery charger only when the surrounding temperature is between 5°C/41°F and 40°C/104°F.
  • Charge the battery to 30%-50% before long-term storage.
  • Store the battery charger in a closed, dry space.
  • Keep the battery away from the charger during storage. Do not let children or unauthorized persons touch the equipment. Store in a lockable space.
  • Clean the product and perform full servicing before long-term storage.
  • Use the transportation guard on the product to prevent injuries or damage during transport and storage.
  • Attach the product safely during transportation.

Disposal of the Battery, Battery Charger, and Product

The symbol indicating that the product is not domestic waste means it should be recycled at an electrical and electronic equipment recycling station.
