General Information and Safety
- General Information: Please read and follow all safety instructions. Keep them for future reference. Check the speaker for damage before use. Ensure the speaker is in perfect working condition.
- Use Only as Directed: Connect speakers according to the manual. Many ELAC speakers have spikes or anti-slip feet for leveling. Adjust these for uneven floors to maintain perfect vertical alignment and stability.
- Location: Install speakers on a level surface. Avoid locations with direct sunlight, high humidity, vibrations, extreme temperatures, or proximity to CRT televisions (due to magnetic shielding) or magnetic cards.
- WARNING: Ensure product stability to prevent tip-over injuries. Spikes can increase stability on carpets but have sharp ends. Use Velcro or double-sided tape for slippery floors. Do not install near heat sources or in areas with explosion risk. Do not block ventilation openings. Avoid closed racks or cupboards. Do not place candles near the speaker. Avoid installing near transformers, as electromagnetic fields can cause hum. Certain materials may cause imprints from anti-slip feet or spike washers.
