Installation and Safety

Safety Precautions:

• Installation and operation must comply with national safety regulations.
• Installation and commissioning should only be performed by a qualified electrician.
• The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper use or installation.
• Any subsequent modifications to the luminaire make the modifying party responsible as the manufacturer.

Installation Procedure:

1. Pass the mains supply cable through the luminaire base plate.
2. For wall mounting, observe the correct application position indicated by an [arrow down] symbol.
3. Secure the luminaire base to the mounting surface using the provided or other suitable fixing material. Ensure the enclosed gaskets are used.
4. Make the earth connection and the electrical connection to the terminals.
5. Insert the lamps.
6. The sliding-bolt closure allows for secure, vibration-resistant mounting of the glass diffuser. Place the glass onto the luminaire base, ensuring the holding springbolts fit into the notches on the glass rim.
7. Turn the glass clockwise until it is securely locked. To remove the glass, turn it counter-clockwise.

Maintenance and Relamping

1. Before any maintenance, disconnect the luminaire from the main power supply.
2. Remove the glass diffuser by turning it counter-clockwise.
3. Clean the glass using only solvent-free cleaning agents.
4. Change the lamp as required.
5. Reinstall the glass diffuser by placing it into the luminaire and turning it clockwise until it is firmly secured.
