A3108 Soundcore Motion Q Firmware Update Instructions

Step 1: Download the update tool and product firmware.

A) Download the update tool from the Soundcore website, unzip it, then double-click "setup.exe” and follow the default installation instructions.

Files listed: MSI.CAB, Msien.msi, setup.exe.

B) Download the firmware (for Soundcore Motion Q), unzip it, and save it to the desktop.

Step 2: Double-click the “Anker” icon on the desktop.

The desktop displays an icon labeled "Anker" with the Anker logo, identified as the "Windows icon".

Upon launching the update tool, the "Software Upgrade utility" window appears. It features the Anker Innovations logo, a title bar with window controls (minimize, maximize, close), and a main interface divided into a blue sidebar and a content area.

The blue sidebar shows three steps: "Step1: Connect Device", "Step2: Select Firmware", and "Step3: Upgrade", with "Step1" highlighted. A language selection dropdown is set to "English".

The content area displays a diagram illustrating a computer connected via USB cable to a speaker. Text prompts: "Connect Device", "Use a USB cable to connect the speaker to the computer". A button labeled "Next Step" is visible.

Step 3:

A) Plug the USB charging cable into your computer.

B) Turn off Soundcore Motion Q.

C) Connect the USB charging cable to your Soundcore Motion Q.

D) Press and hold the “Power” and “Play” buttons simultaneously.

E) When the update tool interface says “Connected”, release the "Power" and "Play" buttons, and click “Next Step."

The "Software Upgrade utility" window now indicates the device is connected. The blue sidebar shows "Step1: Connect Device" as completed. The content area displays "Connected" status with a diagram showing a USB connection to a "USB CARDREADER". The "Next Step" button is active.

Step 4: Click the “Choose” button and select "A3108 firmware,” then click “Next Step.”

The "Software Upgrade utility" window shows the firmware selection interface. The blue sidebar indicates "Step2: Select Firmware" is active. The content area displays "Selected" and prompts to choose a firmware file. The selected file path is shown as "A3108_Soundcore Motion Q V037-20180606.fw Softw". A "Choose" button is present. A diagram shows a USB cable connecting a computer to a speaker. The "Next Step" button is visible.

Step 5: When the progress bar is full, the upgrade is successful. Soundcore Motion Q will turn on automatically in a few seconds.

The "Software Upgrade utility" window displays the upgrade progress. The blue sidebar shows "Step3: Upgrade" as active. The content area shows "Upgrading..." with a progress bar indicating "(2M) DOWNLOAD LFI ..." and the message "Do not disconnect while upgrade is in progress." The language is set to "English".

Following the upgrade, the "Software Upgrade utility" window shows a confirmation of success. A large green checkmark icon is displayed. The text reads "Update Successful. The firmware upgrade was successful." A "Finish" button is available.

Notes:

Do not unplug the USB charging cable or press any buttons on the speaker while the upgrade is in progress.
Hold down the power button for 10 seconds if the speaker seems stuck in the upgrade process.
