ENERMAX REVOLUTION SFX Power Supply Unit User Manual
Thank you for choosing the ENERMAX REVOLUTION SFX power supply unit (PSU). Please read this manual carefully and follow its instructions before installing the PSU.
Important Note for Multi-GPU Setups
If you plan to install two or more high-end, power-demanding GPU cards, please choose a motherboard that comes with extra 4-Pin Molex, 4-Pin FDD, or 6-Pin PCI-E power sockets and connect them to your power supply. This will prevent the motherboard from overloading and potentially causing damage to your system, including the power supply. Damage caused by failing to follow this instruction will not be covered under Enermax manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to your motherboard’s user manual to configure your system properly.
SFX-to-ATX Adapter Bracket
An SFX-to-ATX PSU adapter bracket is included for installation in ATX or Micro-ATX chassis.

Recommendations for PC Longevity and Stability
To avoid failures and increase the lifetime of your entire PC, please ensure the following:
- Your PC is NOT located near a radiator or any other heat-producing device.
- Your PC is NOT located near a magnetic device.
- Your PC is NOT located in a moist and/or dusty and/or vibrating environment.
- Your PC is NOT exposed to direct sunshine.
- Your PC is sufficiently cooled by additional fans.
Warning: Using PC systems with fanless cooling is not recommended, as a potential high internal temperature can decrease the stability and lifetime of all components inside your PC.
Booting Your System
Before booting your system, please check the following:
- Main power connector (24-pin) is properly connected.
- CPU +12V power connector (4 or 8-pin configuration), and/or a 4-pin Molex connector (if required by MB) is properly connected.
- All other needed connectors are properly connected.
- AC cord is properly connected to the wall plug and PSU AC inlet.
- Close your PC chassis.
Protection, Safety & Security
This ENERMAX PSU features multiple protections. In case of abnormal situations, the power supply will automatically turn off to avoid potential danger to itself and other PC components. Protection events are usually triggered by component malfunction or user negligence. In such circumstances, please check your PC devices and working environment for malfunctions:
- Disconnect the AC cord from the wall plug and the power supply AC inlet.
- Check the PSU's temperature by touching it. If it is very hot, this could be caused by a malfunction of case fans, the PSU fan itself, or improper PC positioning.
- Wait a few minutes until the PSU cools off.
- Reconnect the AC cord to the wall plug and the power supply AC inlet.
- Reboot your system.
- Contact the technical support of the manufacturer of the component you suspect is causing the problem (e.g., Motherboard, GPU, or PSU).
Warranty Exclusion
The serial number label or warranty seal being defaced, modified, or removed will void the warranty.
