Installation Instructions
Intel Socket Installation
Follow these steps for installing the cooler on Intel motherboards.
Step 1: Prepare Motherboard
Place the backplate (C) behind the motherboard, aligning its holes with the mounting holes around the CPU socket. Insert the appropriate standoffs (part of D) through the motherboard and screw them into the backplate.
Step 2: Attach Mounting Brackets
Position the Intel mounting brackets (A) over the standoffs on the motherboard. Secure the brackets using the provided screws (part of D).
Step 3: Mount the Cooler
Apply a small amount of thermal paste (B) to the center of the CPU. Carefully place the heatsink assembly (A) onto the CPU, aligning it with the mounting brackets.
Step 4: Secure the Cooler
Use the remaining screws (part of D) to fasten the heatsink assembly to the mounting brackets. Tighten them evenly in a cross pattern.
Step 5: Attach Fan
Clip the fan onto the heatsink assembly. Ensure it is securely attached.
Step 6: Connect Cables
Connect the fan cable and RGB cable (if applicable) to the appropriate headers on the motherboard.
AMD Socket Installation
Follow these steps for installing the cooler on AMD motherboards.
Step 1: Prepare Motherboard
Place the backplate (C) behind the motherboard, aligning its holes with the mounting holes around the CPU socket. Insert the appropriate standoffs (part of D) through the motherboard and screw them into the backplate.
Step 2: Mount the Cooler
Apply a small amount of thermal paste (B) to the center of the CPU. Carefully place the heatsink assembly (A) onto the CPU, aligning it with the mounting points.
Step 3: Secure the Cooler
Use the provided screws (part of D) to fasten the heatsink assembly to the standoffs. Tighten them evenly in a cross pattern.
