Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to install your Aerocool Verkho Series CPU cooler.
Intel Installation:
Step 1: Preparation
For Intel LGA 1200/115X/775 sockets, ensure the motherboard is prepared. Apply a small amount of thermal paste to the center of the CPU. Carefully place the cooler assembly (A) onto the CPU.
Step 2: Securing the Cooler
Use the Intel mounting hardware (C), which typically involves screws and clips, to secure the cooler firmly to the motherboard. The diagram shows screws labeled 'a', 'b', 'c', 'd' being used.
AMD Installation:
Step 1: Preparation
For AMD sockets (AM4/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2/FM2/FM1), ensure the motherboard's stock retention clip is in place or utilize the provided AMD mounting bracket (D). Apply thermal paste to the CPU.
Step 2: Securing the Cooler
Attach the cooler assembly (A) to the AMD mounting system. Secure the cooler using the provided AMD mounting hardware (D), which typically involves a bracket and screws labeled '1', '2', '3', '4' in the diagram.
Fan Attachment and Connection:
Step 1: Fan Mounting
Align the fan (B) with the heatsink. Push the fan downwards onto the heatsink until it clicks into place. Arrows in the diagram indicate the correct airflow direction for the fan.
Step 2: Fan Connection
Connect the fan's power cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. The diagram shows the cable connection.
Final Check: Once installed, verify that the fan is spinning correctly.
