The descaling box is compatible with four types of Bestway hot tubs, each with their own set of instructions. Please check which hot tub you have before proceeding.

General Assembly Steps (based on diagrams):

• Connect the descaling box to the pump using the provided fittings (C, H, I), clamps (D), and hose (E). Ensure a secure connection.
• Refer to specific diagrams for precise connection points for your model (e.g., AirJet, HydroJet, UltraFit).

Maintenance Instructions: Cleaning

To clean the product, follow the general steps:

• Rinse the descaling box with clean water before and after each use.
• Ensure the descaling box is free of foreign matter before use.
• After connecting the descaling box to the pump, fill it with the specified products (e.g., vinegar and water solution) to at least the MIN line marked on the box to clean the PTC (heating element).
• Avoid overfilling to prevent spills.
• Recommended Cleaning Solution: Use a 50% vinegar and 50% water solution or any heater cleaning products dedicated to descaling heating elements.
• Do not activate the filter or heating function; the cleaning solution works more effectively if left still and at room temperature.
• It is recommended to clean the pump 3-4 times per year to extend its life.
• If the pump is inoperable due to excessive scaling or in areas with hard water, longer and more frequent descaling may be required.

For UltraFit™™ hot tubs: It is essential to thoroughly clean the hot tub liner with water to prevent any potential damage or corrosion from spilled detergents.

Important Note: Damage caused by the use of inappropriate chemical products or failure to adhere to maintenance instructions will void the warranty and any service claims.

Disassembly & Storage Instructions

Follow these steps for proper storage:

• Remove all accessories.
• Ensure the descaling box and all accessories are completely clean and dry before storing.
• If parts are not completely dry, mold may result and cause damage during storage.
• Store the product in a dry place with a moderate temperature between 10°C / 50°F and 38°C / 100°F.

Safety & Usage Precautions

• To avoid home or property damage, only use the product in an area with an adequate drainage system. Liquid may flow out of the product during filling, draining, or when in use.
• Do not use inappropriate cleaning products, as they could damage the product and void the warranty.
